Day 21 very high progesterone levels after Letrozole
Can anyone offer me any reassurance please? I was put on Letrozole as a last ditched attempt before starting IVF. Ovulation has never been an issue for me, I believe I was put on letrozole to enhance the egg quality given I have had three consecutive early losses. Last cycle I was taking 5mg of Letrozole

Strange results when adding NDT to Thyroid glandular
I’ve been using 90mg (as 30mg 3x per day before meals) of a thyroid glandular for about a year (after slowly titrating up) and my blood results seemed ok 7/06/2022 TSH 0.005 (0.27 - 4.2) T4 15.2 (12 - 22) 32% T3 5.89 (3.1 - 6.8) 75.4% I also have below range cortisol all day and take an adrenal

Low progesterone query
Hi Ladies, My partner and I are embarking on IVF but while we await treatment we feel there is no harm in continuing to try and conceive naturally (long shot we know but as all of you can relate we don’t want to give up hope) I have had a blood test which has show low progesterone levels. I was wondering

Adding T4 to NDT?
Hello all.... I am Hashi's and hypothyroid. Was taking Levo (175mcg) for almost 20 years, increasing dosage as years went by. But always had cold hand and feet and fatigue. Switched to NDT in August 2022, increasing the dosage to 4 grains now (Feb 2023). Not feeling any different. Blood work show

Early Bleeding during 2WW
Howdy… I had a fresh transfer a couple months ago and I didn’t even make it to the test date :( I got my period on I think maybe day 6/7 after transfer. I was on progestogen (twice a day) and the lubion (think that’s what it’s called!) I’ve read alot that being on the progesterone should stop this period

Hypothyroidism Prevalence in the United States: A Retrospective Study Combining NHANES and Claims Data, 2009–2019
This USA paper discusses prevalence of hypothyroidism in the USA. And comes up with 11.7% in 2019. That same year, the NICE guidelines said "about 2%" for the UK. An astonishing difference. Is the USA figure ludicrously high? Or the UK figure improbably low? Or is there such a large real

Could someone help advise what these skin growths/bumps would be? This might be quite long but any help would be great! :)
Hi all, I really hope somebody can advise me! Sorry if this is long. I've decided to finally post online and ask about this problem because I am getting nowhere with it with the GPs or the hospital (more on those later) So anyway, in August 2021, I noticed a red raised bump, looked similar to a spot

Have I been scammed by a Thyroid S supplier?
I know that I can’t mention a particular supplier on here but I have paid money to a Thyroid S supplier, who no longer answers my emails, and who gave me a tracking number (which when tracked shows me nothing concrete) and when I contacted the courier directly tell me that the goods were sent back

Changing from NDT to T3 What dose of T3 should I take to equal the amount of T3 in the NDT?
Hello allFor the past 18 mths I have been combo dosing with levo and NDT. Levo: 75/50mcg on alternate days. Efra: 30mg once a day. Ordered some NDT from Europe 6 January still not received them. Hence, I have ran out of NDT over five days ago, feeling really rough now, so my only option is to dose with

Is it dangerous if FT3 goes over range? On ERFA NDT only.
My last consultation with private Endo in November was we agreed I stay on 2 grains daily, split 7.00am 2.00pm. Although nearing top of FT3 range he felt there was still a bit of room if it continued to rise and also wanted to see if my main symptoms, constipation and poor quality sleep improved. In

Groundhog Year
Another year passes and the annual blood test causes its usual issues. I did get retested because of an abnormal result serum calcium concentration 2.19 mmol/L (2.20-2.60) They did the test uncuffed and I crept into range. TSH <0.01miu/L (0.49 - 5.23) like this since starting Liothyronine in

struggling to stop the negative thoughts
Hi all, I just felt the need to get the negative thoughts out of my head and onto paper (sort of) to try and take their power away. I’ve been on the discussion forum for a while and have always found it so supportive and such a safe space. I have previously have 6 pregnancy loses - 1 chemical, 2 ectopics

progesterone dose for FET
Hi all Hoping you can provide some reassurance it’s been over a year since my last FET and annoyingly I can’t remember how much progesterone I was described but reading posts on here I’m worried I’m not on enough. My current FET I’ve been prescribed 1x lubion in the morning and 1x cyclogest in the evening

scared with my lab levels. I’m told I’m in danger, but I don’t feel horrible? Looking for advice. I’m confused and anxious
I haven’t posted here in a while because since last year I have made HUGE progress with healing my thyroid and hashimotos. I got on NDT, and upped my LDN. I changed diet and lifestyle stuff and FEEL so much better than last year. I lost weight, my skin cleared up, but I have also been through an immense

progesterone pill - pain and bleeding
Hi I’ve been aware I’ve had endo since 2016 when I was 35 and starting to try for a baby. My left ovary had a large cyst on it that had to be surgically removed. Other than that I was told I had mild endo at that point. It the took me a further three years to conceive (two failed ivf’s) and I naturally

Can someone please remind me of how far through ranges is usually best?
I’ve just used the thyroid calculator for my latest results, see attached, any thoughts welcome. My TSH is 0.01 but it’s surpressed because I take NDT. Current dose 100mcg thyroxine, 1/2 grain ERFA twice daily. Many thanks (Bloods taken inline with protocol suggested on this site)

What on Earth's going on?
How can an increased dose of NDT result in an increased TSH! Like most on here I wouldn’t normally worry too much about TSH but I’m consulting a private endo and he clearly does think it’s relevant so I need to respect that. Also, I’m decidedly not as well as I was before the dose increase/decrease in

combination of NDT and t4?
Just reaching out to see if anyone else is on a NDT with an added t4. Unable to increase NDT due to t3 going over range. I ended up adding in t4 50mcg to 1 grain armour. I then switched to 125mcg (gradually increased to this over the past 7 months) plus a 5mcg of t3 compounded. well I feel dreadful
