I have felt for some time that, among other things, B12 deficiency exacerbates some ADHD symptoms. Therefore I was interested to see the relationships described in this article:

That really is fascinating. B12 was markedly lower, and homocysteine higher, in the ASD (autistic) group than both the healthy group and the ADHD group.

So there is clear evidence of a potential connection between B12 levels and neurodivergent conditions. Even if they're evident at birth, like most ASD?

So could it be that absorption impairments exist at birth for ASD children or ADHD children? It would seem possible.

coincidentally read an article yesterday from Yale School of Medicine about new trials for covid brain fog using N Acetyl Cysteine (available OTC) with Guanfacine (only available on prescription alas) both used to treat ADSD, PTS and Traumatic Brain Injury.
