Here it is guys. I got my second amniotic graph shot plus a lot more done ready for this. I wasn’t expecting this.
Well I had the procedure done on June 26 at Jefferson Hospital with a wonderful urogynecologist. I would highly recommend her. She performed the amniotic graph injections to both sides of my Pudendal nerve, Botox injections, bladder installation for my interstitial cystitis and she took 3 biopsies of

Would you continue with this doctor?
Naming no names or surgery. If you have followed my wife's story so far, she had a grade 5 spleen rupture in France on May 1st and after the removal of said spleen the following tests suggest an MPN probably Myelofibritis, full diagnosis in about a week or so and we will be notified by email from France

01 April 2018

April, at least here in the South East of England, has continued the long, dark, wet winter. Even Scotland is doing better than us! The good news is that our website (www.ghic.world) is now fully up and running.

I have One Kidney...
I am 45 years old and only have one kidney. My Right kidney was removed due to a birth defect when I was 2 months old. I was very sick as a child, on daily Septra until about age 13 (off and on). I had chronic kidney and bladder infections. For some reason at around age 13 I was just fine....not sick

Biologics question
The nurse had previously mentioned adding in sulfasalqzine but due to
septrin
allergy I cannot take it. My swelling and inflammation are much improved with the MTX but I have ongoing stiffness, pain and fatigue, and persistent problems with my fingers and toes.

Dream run has had a hiccup.
So, i've felt great for just over a year now. A few nights ago I had a bowel obstruction and ended up in hospital. I waited until the pain was unbearable and my husband took me to ED at 2am. Several shots of morphine later the fight began over my APS and Raynaud's. I knew I had cover from Rivaroxaban

Lupus (SLE) & anti-phospholipid antibodies - unexpected pregnancy and very worried if I'll be well enough
Hi, I have been unwell for 10 years and I was diagnosed with Lupus (SLE) & anti-phospholipid antibodies about 1.5 years ago. My lupus is fairly under control but the main way it affects me is severe fatigue, every day is a battle to just do normal essential activities. I'm not well enough to work. I

Ablation yesterday! So far, so good.....
My ablation for flutter and afib went ahead yesterday. Cryo for the PVI and RF for the flutter. So far I've been in steady sinus rhythm :-) ever since . The staff at Glenfield were all wonderful, and did their utmost to put me at ease, and keet me comfortable, throughtout my stay. The procedure itself

Hybrid Ablation - second time lucky
I was all prepared for the first part of my Hybrid Ablation, and under general anaesthetic when it was discovered that I had a clot inside my heart. The operation was aborted due to significantly increased risks, and a couple of days later I was sent home to recover. Four weeks later, after going in

Plastic surgery
15 years ago I had a breast augmentation. I had never even heard of Hughes back then or worried about my health. I was young healthy etc. I am now petrified as I know my implants need to be replaced ( they only have a certain shelf life). Has anyone on here had a surgical procedure done? I know it shouldn

I know I said it on the last fet and I probably said it on the first fet too but I don’t think this is going to be a bfp. Blood Clots
Hi I stubbed my toes last week as I got out of bed in the dark and forgot my suitcase was on the floor as I was flying off to Malta the next morning. It was soooo painful. Over the course of the week the pain in my foot became excruciating and I couldn't put any weight on it but after a few ibuprofen

CL and turmeric
CLL and turmeric I have seen several references to the benefits of turmeric- vital ingredient curcumin - for CLL. It is also recommended for arthritis. BUT when I check it out one product site says "If you are taking any blood-thinning medication, such as warfarin or heparin, consult with your doctor

tips for going to Spain next week
My lovely husband has booked a weeks holiday in Southern Spain through SAGA - full board in a hotel overlooking the sea with optional outings. Bit nervous as we haven't flown off abroad for a long time; not since I developed fibro on top of other conditions and I stopped being able to walk any distance

Somewhat inevitable, I overdid it!
5 days post ablation, I have been feeling so normal, not so much as a single ectopic or spell of weakness. So I decided to go for a sedate walk today around Wallington Hall. Sensibly, I took my parents as back up in case I needed them. 1 mile into the walk, I came over all weak and dizzy and had to sit
