Supplement munching
What time do I take
Selenium
(once my gf one arrives in the post) and my zinc? Thanx all. Marax P.s I'm still feeling like I'm currently getting more energy daily 😃. A long way to go but I'm heading in the right direction.

First set of tests since starting Thyroid-S - advice please
I also supplement D3/K2, 150mg elemental iron with 1,000 of Vit C, magnesium,
selenium
, zinc daily and B12 / B complex once or twice a week (as I was and still am over range - although levels have dropped since I reduced how often I supplement).

Selenium Toxicity
I've noticed that a lot of members are recommending
selenium
haphazardly. While it's true that
selenium
can possibly help, too much
selenium
can be very toxic. Common signs of toxicity are hair loss, nail discolouration.

Iodine and Hashis
I recently tried a thyroid support supplement containing iodine and
selenium
, and only took one tab at lunch time, I was terribly sick and had upset tum within an hour, really severe reaction. I assume it was a reaction to the iodine, which I gather is a no no with Hashi.

What supplements?
Would I be better just taking the
selenium
rather than the 'thyroid support' type supplements? I'm currently taking 2.5 grains of Thyroid S (started Nov 16 with 1 grain & slowly increased) & these supplements daily.

Hashis/Adrenal Fatigue question
Supplementing with Vitamin B12, Vitamin B Complex, Vitamin C, Vitamin D,
Selenium
, Coconut milk kefir, Glutamine and saccharomyces boulardii. Adopted a gluten-free, dairy-free and grain free diet a few months back, focus is on a lot of vegetables, some fruit, lean protein and healthy fats.

Confused. TSH lower, FT4 higher but FT3 dropped to below range
Those results were much improved: TSH 1.7 range is 0.35 to 4.5 FT4 17.5 range is 11 to 26 FT3 3.9 range is 3.1 to 6.8 I take
selenium
, k2mk7 with vitD, magnesium recently B12 and B complex and eat GF. I'm trying to get these ranges all optimum.

Subclinical, being baselined (awaiting tests), trying alt therapies; don't want to interfere with diagnosis (chronic migraine/malaise)
I also take high vitamin B and
selenium
, and lots of magnesium and I use bioidentical progesterone cream. Will these give a lift and interfere with my next test? I don’t want to scupper it and then have to wait 6 month, but I have a little family to care for.

Thoughts on my labs?
I have Hashimotos, am on gluten free diet, my vitamin D, folate, and B12 are all high normal and
selenium
and iodine are normal. Ferritin is high, but due to other issues. My adrenals are a work in progress, am on hydrocortisone, adrenal support, and appropriate nutrients.
