Im not sure about the grading side as Im only just doing my first ivf cycle but I was told to avoid vitamin A for definite but not sure about the others I was taking loads of supplements for various things and was told just to take the pregnacare/folic acid for my cycle and to stop everything else. Have you asked a nurse at your clinic? They are usually good at giving you advice x
I have asked the nurse and all she said is that the embryologist would not have frozen it if it was not good. I am just overly anxious as i failed my first one from fresh cycle
It's so hard isn't it to trust what they say even though we know they are the professionals & when you want something as bad as we all want to be parents you scrutinise every little thing, fingers crossed your frozen little embie will the one! 😊x
5AA is the best so yours is a good one... I'm 30 weeks pregnant with a 4AB. It's worth bearing in mind that they don't always thaw at the same quality they were frozen... We froze 4 and had to thaw 3 to get the one we transferred... Definitely avoid vit A (harmful in higher doses to a embryo/fetus.) All you really need is a healthy diet and folic acid! That's all i took.
Hi louilla. I must admit I think that the Pregnacare which includes the folic acid you need should be enough. Speak to your embryologist and see if he/she recommends you take the other vitamins and minerals. Good luck! Diane
