Hi All, I have an under active thyroid and take 125mg of Levothyroxine per day. I also have a Hiatal Hernia and take 40mg of Pantaprazole per day. I have recently started taking supplements to help with these things, but also to help with my general health. I have been taking 2 x 2000mg of Omega-3 fish

Encouragement for those who suffer hairloss
I just wanted to offer my experience of hair loss with severe primary hypothyroidism. I was so upset back in November when I was diagnosed. My hair had fallen out all along my hairline but following the advice of my endocrinologist I bore with my dosage of 125mcg Levothyroxine (first thing in morning

Vitamin and Mineral Supplement Suggestions
Hi everyone, I went to see my GP last Friday with my Blue Horizon results (in Bio). She agrees autoimmune thyroid disease but said my TSH wasn't hugely above range (along the "nothing to worry about" lines) and my T4 is "fine" so she won't medicate straight away as I'm "too young" (ahem...31!) and being

Exercise wipes me out for several days - fluctuating results!
Hi, I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism/Hashimoto’s last August. Every time my dose is increased my T4 raises quite high and out of range and my TSH is usually around 0.3. Then my dose gets lowered by 25mcg and I get terrible hypo symptoms and my results rocket back in the other direction. The Doctors

Quantities - Help please
Hi all, I need to top up on my B12, Vit D & Serum Folate following blood test results. I would also like to add in selenium. But how much of each to take? My Dr. was not helpful and was in such a rush to get me out due to his pressure to see the next person. Do I take a multi supplement with these things

Supplement brand recommendation
Hi guys, I need to find a good supplier of (ideally organic or at least as “natural” as possible) Serum Folate, Vitamin D, Selenium & B12 to top up my low levels following my recent blood results. Can any of you please recommend any suppliers/brands that have worked well for you? Much appreciated. Mandy

Myelofibrosis Natural interventions
I was diagnosed with myelofibrosis in 2011. This is said to be incurable. However, I and a number of others on Cancer Compass have been improving our figures by taking very high doses of vitamin C and (care) selenium amongst other supplements. I have taken no medications for this at all. Two weeks ago
