Supplement brand recommendation

Hi guys, I need to find a good supplier of (ideally organic or at least as “natural” as possible) Serum Folate, Vitamin D, Selenium & B12 to top up my low levels following my recent blood results. Can any of you please recommend any suppliers/brands that have worked well for you? Much appreciated. Mandy

Hi Mandy!

I have been supplementing with a brand I found on Amazon, it's called "Brandon Science Thyroid Support". It has made the biggest difference in the way I feel day/night and I have started FINALLY losing the weight as I have put on almost 80 lbs since being diagnosed with Hypothyroidism. I have tried, literally everything to lose weight and it just want budging until I started taking this supplement. I started noticing an amazing difference in my energy levels within a couple of days, my sleep was pretty much an immediate difference, my hair, nails and skin within a few weeks and weight loss within a month. As always, if you're taking any other medications, consult your physician to make sure it will not interact negatively as I'm no doctor but just wanted to share with you and others what has really worked for me. Hope you have a blessed day hun!!!😁

Hi, possibly a silly question but do you take the BS Thyroid Support on top of Thyroid medication ie: Levothyroxine? Thanks Mandy

According to my Amazon.co.uk search in "Health & Personal Care" just now, the product is not available - nothing listed even for just "Brandon" :-/

It's on Amazon.com so maybe Tashgirl is in the US

A pretty naff supplement actually and definitely not recommended.

The B12 is Cyanocobalamin and it's Methylcobalamin that's recommended.

It contains Iodine, shouldn't be taken unless tested and found to be deficicent as iodine is anti-thyroid and used to be used to treat hypERthyroidism. If Hashi's it can make things worse.

Magnesium Oxide is the least absorbable form of Magnesium.

Zinc Oxide is the form used in nappy creams, etc, much better forms available.

Doesn't say what form the selenium is.

Contains Soy.

Thank you, Susie :) I'm really up against it with "duties" here, so altho I considered it might be on .com I didn't check, due to this being Thyroid-UK :) Your analysis is valued!

I'm a bio care fan, I have been told by 2 different alternative practitioners that I have seen so that's good enough for me

Good luck

Thank you.......there are so many out there. Getting a quality one that works seems a bit like roulette! But all your recommendations are proven, so that takes the pressure off 👍

I find Health Leads a good brand , no additives at all . A bit more expensive but worth it .

Jarrow formulas for methyl folate and B12, and epigenetics international for selenium, or Biocare for everything

Hi, Thorne basics 2 a day. It has everything in it in bioavalable form without the usual nasties.

Hi, Pure Encapsulations are the purest brand that get independently tested and are hypoallergenic. You can get them from Pure Bio, The Natural Dispensary and Amrita Nutrition website x

IF you have access to a good kinesiologist they will help you with tailoring any supplement/medication to you specifically which cuts the trial by error process out.

Hi there! I take it in conjunction with the Levothyroxin. As far as my hair goes, it isn't as set and isn't falling out like it was.
