Since then have been picking up many colds, infections etc and not shaking them as fast as I used to. Last summer was very active, was doing

Test Results - Increase Levo or consider T3/NDT
Good morning all - hope that where ever you are the weather isn't causing you too many problems. After a few months of feeling well on 100mcg Levo, B12, Selenium, Ferrous Fumerate, Vit C as well as being strictly Gluten Free for 6 months I have begun to feel pretty yucky again so have had a blood test

Selenium.
Hi I have never taken Selenium as I thought it was mainly for people with hashi's. As my antibodies are climbing to very near top of the range I thought I should start to take it. Can anyone recommend a good one to take. Many thanks.

Still can't get diagnosed but extra tests being carried out
Hi again everyone, Happy snow day! I hope you are all safe and warm inside. I headed back to the doctor on Monday (different doctor, same practice) with my mum in tow to back me up (feels great having to do that when you are in your 30's)! I told the doctor I believe my results show I have subclinical

Reviewing vitamin & mineral combinations.
Good Afternoon everyone I hope the snow isn't causing anyone too much trouble, although I do love it myself. I wonder if anyone could cast their eyes over my regime & see if it looks okay. As some of my stocks come to an end I'll be replacing with better brands/combinations. Breakfast 7.30-8am:-

NDT during pregnancy
I am hoping someone will be able to offer me advice. Apologies in advance for the very long post. Back in 2015-2016 I was barely able to function with many classic hypothyroid as well as low B12 low Vit D symptoms. My TSH was 0.96 and my doctor was very dismissive and wanted to diagnose me with fibromyalgia

My husband has terrible anxiety, fear and depression. He was diagnosed with hashimotos in June when we found he had high TPO antibodies of 100, his TSh was about 4 and was on 30mg of NP throid until December. The functional dr we are seeing in the US increased it to 60mg of Armor. His fear and anxiety

TED thyroid eye disease
I just saw my Endo who thinks I now also have TED she has ran the tests and I am waiting to hear back. Is this something that will get worse like my Hashimotos did or will it be easily treatable? I was advised to try selenium and prescribed eye drops meantime but steroids might be an option if it doesn't

Kelp’s benefits are not without risk
I am more than happy to accept there are benefits from taking kelp supplements - the research convinced me to add some to my diet - just a low dose of 200mcg / day just around the RDA so no big deal in the scheme of things. I also took on board the very clear advice to dose up with selenium at the same

Hi all. I’ve been a member a while but had no results to look at as took endo on blind faith that everything was fine. Have asked about t3 twice now. I’m not losing any weight despite running. Feel okish but tired, hair rubbish, nails crack. Upped dose by 25 twice a week and heart palp went away so did

Magnesium and leaky gut
https://drcarolyndean.com/2017/02/leaky-gut-another-magnesium-deficiency-condition/ Lots of discussion on these threads over leaky gut and the implications. I wonder if everyone should start just with magnesium and let this help gut function and then test for vitamin / mineral deficiencies in case
