Excess protein
I am often admitted due to potassium readings between 6-7 because of the danger of
seizure
. Often while I am waiting for treatment the potassium reading comes down to a safe reading. Anyone else experienced high potassium that appears to be linked to excess protein consumption?

Nocturnal seizure
I think i awoke having a
seizure
. My head was going forward to back very quickly. Then a quick shudder before i opened my eyes. My heart rate was 80 bpm when i checked my fitbit. A few nights prior i awoke with extreme muscle soreness in neck. Anyone else experience this?

Saying hello and would like your thoughts.
Five days ago I experienced a
seizure
during the early hours of the morning, a first
seizure
for me. I had already been off work for two days prior due to feeling pretty grim; headache, tired, nauseous, foggy headed, the usual stuff!

2nd seizure - Do I really have epilepsy?
My daughter (aged 19) woke up this week, turned her head and felt her head lock and started shaking, she then does not remember the rest, her boyfriend said she was out for around 1 min, shaking, frothing at mouth, rolled eyes, urinated & bit her tongue. She is at Uni so I am sure sleep deprevation

Can you stop a seizure with pure will power?
So, can I talk myself out of a
seizure
if this is a
seizure
?

One second black out today
Anyway the reason i'm worried is because almost 2 years ago I had a
seizure
(well black out for 30 mins), and have been on lamotrigine since. I had my head injury 3 years ago when I did have a
seizure
the day after. It's my left temporal lobe area with damage.

Crippling physical symptoms
I did ok with it for 6 hours and then the same thing happened except a new thing happened I started shaking uncontrollably like I was having a
seizure
. I then became terrified of medication. I didn’t have panic attacks after that but my anxiety was the worst it’s ever been.

Insomnia and bipolar2
I just had a horrible
seizure
a month ago that landed me in the ICU that caused a brain bleed. Luckily it healed on its own. I was so terrified that I would have to have surgery. I had a concussion from hitting my head when I had the
seizure
they said. Pretty scary!!

Back in Hospital
My neurologist has said after I had another CT Scan this morning that the
seizure
is down to the brain injuries I suffered and he wants to keep me in hospital for further monitoring to see how often I have a
seizure
and what medication is best to control the seizures.

Feeling done in
Am I awful, I feel so done in, I spent today's
seizure
thinking about Dignitas. Probably. But what life is this leaving me. Conditions just seem to be getting worse. But I don't put it all down to FND. I have an auto-immune disorder with my thyroid and have put on weight quick quickly over 2 weeks.

Young Adult with epilepsy
His brother have always been his guardian angel since the first
seizure
, yet he always fights with him, but still love each other. Epilepsy has always been the "excuse" for my fears.

Don't use the 'Q' word
On the positive side though I have received appointments from Neurology to look at the
seizure
episode and Rheumatology, both within the next six weeks.

Seizures
He has experienced his second tonic clonic
seizure
in the last 8 months. He is still on azathioprine due to his seizures, so that will be nearly 5 years in September. Has anyone else experienced seizures who have cerebral vasculitis? Any information would be greatly received.
