PD Dialysis - Week 6 - Houston we have a problem
When getting out of the car, a pain
seizure
hit in my back that dropped me to my knees. I spent 10 minutes crawling around on the pavement before I could pull myself up using the mirror on my car and get into his office. Once there I could not sit.

Has anybody suffered long term side effects of Astra Zeneca vaccine?
I had a double
seizure
in Jan. 2018, broke skull, probably balance issues? Left arm, schwannomas broke out, late April. Booster Pfizer Nov. 2021 no side effects. Shaky hands especially left, WILL that EVER get back to some sort of normality?

Switching from high dose Lamotrigine to Keppra
I'm currently on 700 mg Lamotrigine/day, but am still having a partial
seizure
every 3 to 4 weeks. It has been decided to swap me to Keppra from today. The consultant is putting me on 500mg Lamotrigine plus 2 x 500mg Keppra from today.

Fed Up
My recovery from seizures has now gone from 2 days to approx 7 for me to feel back to normal, and my
seizure
activity is a lot worse too. I just don’t know what to do anymore. Ok moaning over, tomorrow another day, first day of me weaning on to pregabalin!

What medication do people find most helps their lupus ? Can no longer take HCQ
I've given it a good try with the HCQ, no doubt it works as well, but for me with lupus brain damage, traumatic brain injury and a previous brain haemorrhage setting off seizures last year, as many of you know, the HCQ is unfortunately causing too many seizures by reducing my
seizure
threshold.

Withdrawal/ hospital
Anyway over the last few weeks he has been drinking a litre of vodka a day and then on Monday didn’t as was clearly feeling awful vomiting all day and on Monday evening I had to call 999 as he started to have a
seizure
this was I presume caused by sudden alcohol withdrawal . He is now in hospital.

Hello,
I was an interpreter for deaf children in schools, had a
seizure
at work, was rushed to hospital to be told I had a mass on my brain and needed emergency surgery. It turned out to be a massive brain tumour. I lost my speech . It will be 6 years this year, it’s been difficult.

does levothyroxine cause seizures?
I've never had a
seizure
before so I don't know what to look for. It's also making it hard for me to stay awake, I work at night and sleep during the day but on my way to work, I've almost fallen asleep while driving and I'm honestly scared to drive to work now.

Remos - Progress update
I’ve been advised to change/transition anti-
seizure
drugs from a current high dosage of Keppra to medium dosage level of Lamotrigine. This is a 16 week schedule (I’m in week 10). I’ve been feeling “out-of-sorts” throughout this process. 3. No seizures since discharged in July last year. 4.

Last Hope-hypothyroidism symptoms??
Severe vertigo (can't walk/stand, nausea, and uncontrolled
seizure
-like movements) I had to call 911 one time because I couldn't lift my head. The ER had to pick me up and I was flailing all over the place.

Anyone can't tolerate HCQ and why?
She stated that the HCQ lowers
seizure
threshold, but not to worry that's a neurology issue not a rheumy issue so to continue anyway. Just wondered if anyone else has had major issues with HCQ tolerance.

Having blackouts days after receiving Pfizer vaccine and booster.
I am now on
seizure
medication. This has certainly disrupted many people's lives that should be recognized and shared.
