Pins & Needles (Calcium Absorption & Seizures)
About 18 months after they started I (by accident) discovered that calcium controlled the problem and strangely my increasingly severe pins and needles calmed to pre-
seizure
levels.

anyone else had side effects on Keppra?
But Wednesday he has his first
seizure
and is currently in the hospital. They brought his dose down and it seems to help but he still has his aggressive episode every so often. Anyone else got through this while on keppra?

4-day old with bacterial meningitis & severe brain damage
She’s currently intubated, on a feeding tube, and heavily sedated on 3 anti-
seizure
meds. Her MRI reveals severe, permanent brain damage to the basal ganglia. Neuro said the most likely outcome is that our baby will have severe physical and cognitive issues as she develops.

Existing, not living
Well, 2002 I had an accident in work where 2 pallets of radiators were pushed off the back of a lorry but landed on me, I suffered a bleed on the brain, few other cuts and bruises, the following month I suffered with a
seizure
on my way to work, and was diagnosed with epilepsy, I put a litigation claim

ADAA Story of Triumph: Learning To Be Me Again
"June 2020, I had a
seizure
. I know I did. What else could it have been? Mayo Clinic symptom checker said that’s what it was so that’s what it has to be," Morgan says. Morgan tells her story of struggling with anxiety, panic attacks, and her battle with medication.

Can they sack me
I am currently 8 years
seizure
free. I have been with my current employer for 2 years. They changed the requirements of the role earlier this year. Weekend on-call has always been a requirement. It was one week in five/six when I joined.

confused :(
I am told that the injury was serious, although I was only kept in hospital for 5 days for monitoring, was on anti
seizure
meds for a week after, was then discharged and left to it. I am seeing Neuropsychology & Physio for BPPV issues, otherwise I am discharged. I am extremely!!!!

strange sleep symptom
It tends to happen when stressed and I can feel it coming on - I just get that I can’t keep my eyes open (definately not fainting or
seizure
etc) and I have to succumb. It can last 10 minutes to an hour but it feels like a deep sleep.

I see bright flashes and dark spots in my vision. Is it epilepsy?
Okay so I was diagnosed with epilepsy after my first
seizure
in may this year, I’m 27. I have slow and sharp waves in my frontotemporal regions(both sides) and I have tonic-clonic seizures when I’m asleep 2-3 seizures 1 hour apart. I can go 4 weeks without having any so far.
