Diet and supplements for endometriosis?
Hi! Does anyone know what a professional is called who can advise on diet and supplements for women who have endometriosis? Nutritionist? Dietician? Apothecary? 😉 (That's a joke) I'm wondering because I've read a few tips on health blogs, but I feel cautious about taking supplements before checking

Natural Lemon Flavor
My son has been taking Carlson Very Best Fish Oil. Just looked closely at the table and realized it lists "Natural Lemon Flavor" as ingredient. I know "natural flavors" is often code for "hidden PG!" Does anyone have any thoughts on Carlson Fish Oil or this ingredient listing?

Bladder neck contracture
I have a bladder neck contracture that makes urinating difficult I was able to insert catheters with difficulty so I was not terribly concerned about being very far from competent medical care. It is a 4 hour drive to a hospital with a urologist on call and my local very good primary care doctor told

I am 69 and was diagnosed approximately 4 months ago with locally advanced Ductal Adenocarcinoma of the Prostate, Gleason 8, with seminal vessel involvement. I've been on Eligard for 3 months and had blood tests yesterday but I don't have any results to share yet. I also had a CT SIM yesterday in preparation

Micronutrients used in study protocol reversed my osteoporosis though taking prednisone for PMR
After I couldn’t tolerate AA and Forteo landed me in hospital for shortness of breath I researched a study protocol used in Canada which had good results. This was the COMB protocol using micronutrients: It used: fish oil, K2, D3 and strontium Citrate. I followed this for only a year and half because

Fish oil
Does anyone know if taking a better fish oil with more epa and dha might interfere with t4 to t3 conversion in the liver? Or as it thins the blood a little, affect anything there? Still only 1000 in total. If anything I found other symptoms of pms better but wondered about that.

Anyone take fish oil or krill oil to help with inflammation?
I had been taking fish oil for several months and a few weeks ago started taking a good brand of krill oil. Now this may just be a coincidence, but i have been attempting to taper from 6.5 pred to 6 for about 8 weeks and always felt achy so would just stay on the 6.5. Its been a month since I started

Does green tea extract (EGCG can) reduce WBC in CLL?
I have read some positive things about green tea extract to treat CLL so our Hematologist said just W & W but we could not stop and search about the CLL and its alternative methods of treatment from food and tea etc. Finally, we found that EGCG is useful to reduce the WBC or postpone development symptoms

I said I'd write this post as it may or may not help anyone considering taking this medication to make a decision. I was diagnosed with Osteoporosis in 2016, having being diagnosed coeliac in 2015. My t score at the time was -2.5 in my Spine. I also had osteopenia in my hips. I was advised then to go

I've recently started using
essential oils in a humidifier and I've found that (dependent on the oil you choose) it really is calming as well as uplifting. Have you ever tried this or have a particular fragrance that soothes? Chloe <3

Mustard Seed Oil
I tried it years ago, and just thought about it again. Has anyone tried it as a substitute for Lorenzo's Oil? It has a similar makeup.

Weaning off Ropinirol
A question! I was on 2mg ropinirol at bedtime for the last 5 years or so. After reading all the negative things about it, I decided to wean off, .25mg at a time. I've been doing this slowly and I'm down to 1mg now but a strange thing happened last night. Early evening and my legs felt fine. No twitchy

Hi all So since the end of November all of a sudden my IBS flared up. I’d be constantly bloated day and night which isn’t normal as with my bloating it comes and goes . I usually wake up with a flat tummy and towards the end of the day I’d be bloated. This time the bloating does not go no matter what
