Natural Lemon Flavor

My son has been taking Carlson Very Best Fish Oil. Just looked closely at the table and realized it lists "Natural Lemon Flavor" as ingredient. I know "natural flavors" is often code for "hidden PG!" Does anyone have any thoughts on Carlson Fish Oil or this ingredient listing?

Personally, I always veer away from "Natural Flavors" which can contain 50 - 100 different ingredients and are suspect for the glycols. I do NOT, however, always stay away from a "natural lemon flavor" for example. I usually assume it is actually from lemons with little processing. (I don't know for sure that that is true, but I don't seem to get a reaction from them, especially if it is organic or a high quality product.) I do avoid glycerin since it bothers me. With the Carlson Very Best Fish Oil, if your son is not having any adverse reactions to it, I would continue using it since fish oil can be very beneficial IMO. If, however, you are looking for a new brand, Standard Process carries Cod Liver Oil and SP is an organic company.
