essential oils in a humidifier and I've found that (dependent on the oil you choose) it really is calming as well as uplifting.
Have you ever tried this or have a particular fragrance that soothes?

I'd like to know more about this. Do you need to actively relax for the best effect ?
No not at all Greyone
I bought a small humidifier for around £13 which also has various coloured lights you can have on (I don't) and you just unscrew it, fill it with water and add 10 drops of essential oil and switch on. I move it about and have it on the sitting room table or bedroom, even the kitchen, I love it!

Essential oils can be great for relaxing. You need to be very careful if you have pets however as some are toxic for animals
"Many essential oils, such as eucalyptus oil, tea tree oil, cinnamon, citrus, peppermint, pine, wintergreen, and ylang ylang are straight up toxic to pets"
I like vetiver and blends with bergamot in. I had a sleep oil that I used to put on my pillow or front of my pj's that was lovely but very expensive.
Hi GoGo_JoJo
Thank you for this information, that's really helpful.
I don't think it's too expensive as they are long lasting but then I use in a humidifier, so probably not the same, but worth it I feel.

It was technically a bath oil mix at £50 a bottle so a bit steep. If I could find the right essential oils to mix myself it would be much cheaper! 👍🏻
