Hello I am new here. I was silly & had unprotected sex about a month ago, I went & got the morning after pill 3 hours later. My period is late by 5 days & I am really stressed out. I cannot have a baby at my age (40). I know I should have known better but it just happened. I feel ill with worry. I bought

Newly diagnosed and Unsure of Myself
I did have pains in my chest which I put down to the GERD and/or my
scars
. I wasn't wheezy so didn't even think it was anything chesty as I don't really suffer with chest infections although I am very sensitive to aerosols.

Dulera
It is so frustrating to work with DRs when you have a lung disease. I was told that IF I have COPD, it's probably mild, but Dr thinks it's now asthma. Switched my meds again, this time to Dulera. Still do not feel any benefits. Does anyone else here use Dulera? And if so, do you suffer side effects

Post surgical Peritonitis
Atm I'm on heavy duty ABs and total bed rest, can't move anyway, and am back to looking at all my
scars
which have all been reopened, plus a couple of nice new ones! Don't even care, just want to feel better. Has this happened to anyone else at all after surgery?

FDA Reports Serious Adverse Events With Lariat Used for LAA Closure
This one is scary. "The US Food and Drug Administration issued a safety communication to providers and patients regarding 45 patient deaths and other adverse events associated with SentreHEART devices used for left-atrial-appendage (LAA) closure, including its Lariat suture delivery device[1]." http

White scar like marks
I thought they were
scars
, but l've more now only a few. But they look worse since I got a tan to hide my paleness. I read a blog that said that they were a symptom of b12 d, which is a shock to me. Has anyone else got them? What causes them and how do I get rid of them if I can?

Urticaria
I badly grazed my shin on a tree stump about six years ago, a classic bulls eye rash appeared and got bigger and bigger after GP had treated for cellulitis, phlebitis and something else I forget he established it was urticaria and the treatment he gave me eventually cleared it up leaving

Hello everyone, Apologies for the potentially slightly irrelevant post but I'm after some advice. I have suffered from some chronic pain in my right foot following an ankle injury. A Fresh Day
I have been through many horrific things and bear
scars
both mentally and pyhsically, but I try and compartmentalise them in the past. You can't change what has gone before, but you can change how you let it affect your present and future. Gosh, heavy stuff!!!

Anyone with a relative with CLL or SLL?
Bit of a dark question. Those of us with Hashi's - or "borderline Hashi's" as my GP likes to call it - have chronic lymphocytic thyroditis, right? And there is an association, not huge, with non-Hodgkins lymphoma. My brother has chronic lymphocytic leukaemia. Both of our ailments are probably genetic

Fear, insecurity, helpless
I was badly burnt many years ago which I have the
scars
to show but I have never found out how they happened as that was during the time I get confused with my memory , I know I am a decent person just a bit screwed up perhaps do we all go through this but some handle it better than folk like me?

Lastly, Ladies- do you have recurrent pain in the
scars
of genital ulcers? Like a sudden tinge every so often? I feel like no one talks about the downstairs business...and it's the worst part, in my opinion. Thanks-

Saying goodbye to a friend
Is it because we have no
scars
or outside physical evidence for them to see? So another day goes by and I have one less friend. I don't know why I feel so sad. It's not like she really cared. No phone calls, no offering me any help. Only judging me.
