Effective Scar Reduction?
We have been advised to use bio oil which i massage in to his
scars
each evening and we apply sun cream each day to avoid pigmentation. However, his
scars
are still highly visible and are causing him a lot of distress.

Having a D & C and Both Tubes Removed
This is my first post. I'm scheduled for surgery on Wednesday, March 15, next week. The tubes are being done by a lap. I'm pretty nervous as I have scar tissue so there could be some complications where my surgeon may need to open me up more. I'm scheduled for two weeks off--the amount my school district

Skin Hassles
I usually get a skin itch each time after bathing and it's real stressful and painful, what could be the cause because this has been happening for a year now.

Lapraroscopy - CUT Out Endometriosis
The first 2 I had the Endo burnt away, I have 4 very small
scars
, 2 in my belly button and 2 just below my knicker line. The recovery was painful but bearable and took about 4-6 weeks for me to feel the benefit and about 6-10 to be pain free.

Feeling Philosophical
But life is like that, full of pain and joy and little
scars
we are all bound to wear. I'm not sorry I did IVF, I can say we tried our best and I no longer feel so alone because of this forum. I know that there are women out there who feel the same pain as I do and that gives me courage.

No info on lung condition
My husband unknown to us had lung fibrosis and was being treated for COPD. After a hip operation he sadly passed away with lung fibrosis but we were never told of this condition only the COPD. I am still tormented why no one had told us, 😪

Choledochal Cyst - looking for others
My 13-year-old was diagnosed with an asymptomatic choledochal cyst about a year ago, and will have surgery this April. She's understandably nervous and would love to communicate with another person who has undergone this surgery. Would love any connections we can find. Thanks!

Post-Treatment - Depression
I had bilateral mastectomies and rather than feeling glad and relieved that am done with my surgeries and my
scars
have been healing nicely (no reconstruction yet; still deciding); I am finding myself feeling very sad. I was wondering if anyone has experienced this after all treatment has ended.

Autonomic Dysfunction
This is aimed at the gurus that know all about autonomic dysfunction. I had my appointment today. I mentioned the right side face numbness (among other things). He said it seems to be that my main problem is autonomic dysfuncfion. He's organised a tilt table test and an MRI/MRA. Also a lot of adrenal
