Tampon problem!
I had a baby 6 months ago with an episiotomy as well as a 3rd degree tear. I have been stitched up too much (vaginal entrance too small to even have sex). Today I managed to insert a small (tampax Pearl light) tampon with lube but it hurts too much to pull it out! The pain seems to be inside under episiotomy

Magnesium glycinate
Iv been trying to find some ways to relieve my anxiety a bit without taking prescribed medication. I have started taking magnesium glycinate it’s only been two days so I know I won’t notice any difference for a few weeks. Do they help with anxiety? Has anyone else had any relief with them? I know they

Painful hands and wrists at night time
I have an underachieve thyroid. Well controlled so far. Recently I have been having very very painful hands and wrists, with the pain radiating up to my elbow on the right side. It doesn't stop me doing things in the daytime and doesn't hurt really in the daytime. The only thing is, for instance

Surgical glue & bathing (added photo of my incisions) belly button incision / infection
After 5weeks I’ve been told I can have a bath with salt to try & heal this wound. It’s better when cleaned but as soon as I’ve moved about it weeps again & ends up like this. I’ve just finished a weeks course of antibiotics. Has anyone else had this? Has anyone any tips to get it to heal?

Doses (grains) advice after thyroidectomy
Hi everyone! Sorry for my English, I am Italian, so my English won't be perfect! ;-) On the 26th April, so last week, I went through thyroidectomy because of a thyroid cancer (a TIR 3a then revealed as a cancer). Before this, I started to be cured with Nature Thiroid because I suffered from subclinical

Hi I’m 16 years old and I’m 26 weeks almost 27 weeks pregnant and need advice and someone to talk to
My parent doesn’t no, no one in my family know about my pregnancy only me and the baby’s father, his parents don’t approve of things like this especially at our age so we can not go to them for advice or help or tell them about this, my family will be there for me but I feel embarrassed to tell them

Thyroid Surgery Scar
I am 1.5 weeks post op. The scar is awful. I didn't get advice other than use soap and water from my surgeon. I got an otc product called Scar Away which is silicone based. I started using it 5 days after surgery. I am wondering what I should be using on the scar for optimal healing... I hate scarfs

Secondary Endometriosis from C Section
Just wondering if anyone here is at the other end of the endo I spectrum? Rather than endo messing up my chances of kids, I got it in my c section scar whilst having my twins. I got it because I had kids, because of a sloppy surgeon, apparently womb cells get caught up in the scar by accident. No one

Update 3rd ozurdex implant
Hi guys. Had my third implant Tuesday. Different Dr again so was a bit nervous. She seemed a bit awkward putting the clamp in but I've had no problems after. Just watery and achy for the first day and a bit of a blood spot but not too bad. Sight seems a bit improved already which is good as before inj

Today's interesting molecule. Taurine.
So I spent a couple days researching this molecule and finally just now I began to find some truly interesting links: - Creatine-supplemented diet extends Purkinje cell survival in spinocerebellar ataxia type 1 transgenic mice but does not prevent the ataxic phenotype. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed

Unidentified small white itchy bumps even morning when I wake up. Bug bites or skin reaction ?
I wake up every day -every. single. day- with small itchy white bumps on my body They definitely look like mosquito bites and they are always isolated if I have several, so I doubt it could be bed bugs The thing is, I get them only when I'm near my bed and just after I woke up. That's why I thought they

End of Trial
I had been on the LOGS trial for recurrent low grade serous cancer for the past 12 months. It has been keeping the cancer mostly stable but not without some complications. The medication had been having an adverse effect on my heart output. I had been through two dose reductions but sadly my heart function
