Longest known SARS-CoV-2 infection of nearly 300 days successfully treated with new therapy
The case demonstrates that there may be potential treatments for immunocompromised individuals with persistent
SARS
-CoV-2 infection and these need more investigation.

IBS and the COVID vaccine
We are not aware of any data to suggest that the vaccination against
SARS
-CoV-2 (the virus causing COVID-19, the disease) causes a relapse of known IBS. All drugs or chemicals cause side effects. It would be most unwise to avoid the vaccine.

French research on the most grave Covid
Since the emergence of
Sars
-CoV-2, researchers have been trying to understand these differences. Last week, two new studies confirmed what initial work had established in October 2020: a large proportion of severe forms are explained by a genetic or immunological abnormality.

COVID-19 in children with cancer: Severe disease and disrupted treatment
Research from a large international effort shows that 20% of children with cancer who are infected with
SARS
-CoV-2 develop severe infections. In studies of children overall, only 1-6% have reported severe infections.

Synarel and Utovlan together? - your experiences please!
Hi there, Does anyone have any experiences taking Synarel and Utovlan together. I've been on Synarel a month(along with Livial) but am still having periods. My wedding is in 3 weeks so my consultant has advised I can take Utovlan a week before to stop the bleeding on the day. I'm just a tad worried

Suggestions for sunblock or make up with high SPF for wearing over dermatix silicone gel
Hi I have just suffered a facial laceration to the chin that required multiple stitches last week. I have been told that after 14 days I should apply dermatix silicone gel to the maturing scar daily to help minimize scaring / flatten it etc but I was also told to wear SPF 50 daily to prevent hyperpigmentation

How to avoid lifting when you have small children?
My first baby was big and I had an episiotomy and I wasn’t given any form of internal examination. My recovery was extremely painful. It was only when I was pregnant with my 2nd (4 years later) that I realised something was wrong below. I was then told my pelvic floor had torn in the first delivery

Keloid scars
Hi, I am not sure if this is the correct forum - I searched about but could not find anything specific to scarring. My son who is now 18 went through a period of self harming at the tops of his arms. They are now keloid scars horizontal from one side to the other. He would like tattoos and I am asking
