Has anyone been given Fybogel or Movicol before for their Tummy Cramps / Bowel Movements and does it work ? As My G.P has given me lemon flavoured Fybogel as she saw me at my worst today.
Fybogel / Movicol: Has anyone been given... - Endometriosis UK
Fybogel / Movicol
It does work, took a few days for me but it worked in the end.
I had it years ago for my IBS. Did help but have since found eliminating bread, milk and citrus fruits works just as well, only one bad flair up occasionally now. Cutting down on processed foods and sugar helps.
Yes, it works for me. I take Fybogel once a day (twice a day at the beginning) and if I miss a dose or two I can really tell the difference.
Hi, I’ve tried both. I can’t say the Fybogel made much difference but I have quite a high fibre diet anyway. The Movicol has been great. It has got my bowel moving normally again. I wish I’d discovered it sooner. It took me a long time to accept that my bowel needs a bit of assistance. It really helps reduce my endo pain.
I am on movicol after 2 or 3 days it deff works and if u take regular it helps alot first few days can be uncomfortable and alot of wind it dies down after few days.good luck
