Hello all, I've now been out of hospital for just over three months. I was admitted in February this year for flu, pneumonia and severe septic shock and was in a coma for almost a month in ICU, then in a general ward for another 8 weeks before getting out. I do have ICU-acquired weakness in various

Struggling with flare up
Since last Wednesday my asthma has flared up. I have been taking regular reliever (mart regime fostair 100/6)every 4 hrs. I have had tight chest and peak flow dropped to 350/500. Although I not making my top peak flow as my lungs are still healing from pneumonia. Now I woke up with soreness in my diaphragm

A question on breathing, possible long-covid ?
Strange thing, and need your help, just to see if anyone else has the same symptom, so Dec 2021, came down with covid, and then had a upper respiratory infection, which lasted around 4 months. During these months, I had wheezing, and at times very bad, but there was one other symptom, which I need

anxious about CAD - MRI result
Hi all, Does anyone know if a cardiac MRI would pick up coronary heart disease , or at least see some part of the arteries? I’m awaiting a CT scan with dye to look into CAD, but my consultant thinks it’s unlikely as I’m 32 , I am overweight and an ex-smoker so I do have some risk factors. My cardiac

Check your Thyroid
For about a year I’ve been struggling. Fatigue getting worse, frozen shoulder, dry mouth and eyes, aching, brain fog, palpitations. It really got worse after last years autumn Covid booster when I thought I was having a heart attack. Heart all checked out fine. So I talked to my consultant at my clinic

Sorry this is long So I've had a rough summer. Initially really tired in evenings, rang the GP...was told at 46 I'm probably menopausal and what do I expect. A week later my leg swole. I went in said I thought cellulitis, different GP thought more likely clot so scans and anti clot stuff and a basic

Hi. Following an ablation nearly 2 years ago I have been AF free. I have PIP Flecainide and Bisoprolol that I have never needed to take since the ablation. I take Edoxaban daily. I currently have Covid and yesterday had a jumping feeling so checked my Apple Watch and it said AF. I immediately did several

Hi lovely ladies, Has anyone taken menopur and ovaleap on a short protocol before? I had my first follicle scan today and I had 13 follicles showing, 8 follicles which where leading and 5 follicles tailing behind. Apparently clinic have informed me this is the best follicle count in all my rounds.

Low Follicles_increased stims_confused
Hi lovely people! Hope everyone is doing ok. I'm so confused and upset (can't stop crying). I'm 39, approaching 40 at the end of year and going through my second cycle. I had a failed ICSI transfer end of May. So we decided to get back into it. Last cycle I had 10 follicles, 6 eggs collected, 5 matured

Ovamex
Hello I have started taking stim drugs for ICSI IVF. I have been injecting ovaleap for 5 days and now have to inject ovamex in the morning and ovaleap at night. The ovamex is a pre filled injection. Did you have to get any air bubbles out of the syringe? The fertility nurse says that the air bubbles
