Interesting to compare notes. I was very sick this time after the newest Moderna covid vaccination. After about 9 hours I started to feel a bit under the weather, but after a night's sleep, I woke up to nausea, threw up, and had a full day of aching joints, headache, small fever and chills. The day after I was fine aside from some stomach upset. Let's hope the one two punch means my immune system is ready to do battle should the Big Red Spikeball attack!

I had mine on Tuesday. Absolutely fine, no side effects. It was Pfizer this time. My 8th Covid-19 vaccination. Flu jab next Wednesday. I wanted to leave a good gap, thinking that if I had a reaction, I wanted to know which vaccine was causing it. Stay well

Well done GiveMeStrength! I have only had flu jab so far, and the headache started as I left the chemist🫣. I was much better 12hrs later so presumed there was something else lurking. Stocking up with the paracetamol now for the Covid jab! Well done for having it though. Try a ginger shot for the nausea - just a little bottle. Worked for me a couple of days ago

Hello. I hope you’re feeling okay.

Paul ( the one with CLL) had his Covid booster this week and just had a headache and aching neck/shoulders that same evening.

I’m booked in for next Tuesday… I’ll let you know!

Fran 😉

I had my vaccine shot yesterday. Sore arm and a little wash out feeling other wise good. It was Moderna, called Spike vax. A little diarrhea that Imodium took care of but that could be attributed to the Venetoclax I take.

I had my Pfizer booster on Monday followed by fatigue, headache and feeling nauseous for a couple of days, just left with a sore arm now. I’ve had 8 now and it’s only been the last 2 Pfizer’s that caused reaction-but if that means it’s giving me some protection I’ll take that!

I had Pfizer yesterday at 8:45am. I felt some aches and pains by evening - but this was after a hard week of working and some added physical activity I am not used to (babysitting!). I took some Tylenol at bedtime and just slept 11 hours. I am up now having my coffee as though nothing every happened - not even a sore arm from the jab.

The new updated Covid vaccines have just been released in my area this weekend. Since my influenza vaccine was already scheduled for today I will wait 2 weeks for the Covid vac as my doctor recommends. I've had Pfizer up until now and may switch to Moderna.
