this morning I woke up congested and with a lot of post nasal drip, which caused my throat to be slightly sore. I tested last night for covid and was negative. These past few weeks I’ve been fighting a cold/allergies but I feel like yesterday and today have been slightly worse. I’m supposed to go to a fair with my boyfriend and some friends and I still really want to. I am just worried about giving them covid. But my test was negative last night. I have no fever either

nervous about covid
You do not have Covid, it’s fine… go to the fair with your boyfriend and friends and enjoy yourself. Stop worrying about it….
Covid negative!!! You are fine
My friend just recovered from covid. It was his first time having it. You would DEFINITELY KNOW if you had it. You wouldn't be able to move you'd be so sick... plus with no fever and a negative test, you're just anxious about putting your friends and family at risk... which is a good thing.
Go enjoy your special day at the fair and take some Zyrtec for your allergies😊👍
Back in the October of 2019 our family came down with what we thought were bad colds before covid got officially christened and looking back I suspect it was covid.
How are you and the dogs getting on?
Kiddos are doing well ☺️ gonna get our flu and covid 💉 boosters in a week. Gotta get my immune system primed for the winter season coming. All the 😷 sick people 🤧 coming into my workplace from all over the planet. Maybe I'll be lucky and avoid it this year 😉hope you have a fun time at the canival today 💝
I need to get a flu shot too. I refuse to have the flu again! 🤧 I need to coax myself out of the house first. It's a good reason though. The place my wife works at is a viral incubation biohazard ☣️. People are not careful with their germs there, it drives me nuts. She just had covid from there. Somehow I didn't get it. Knock on wood.
Daisy425 , you'd know if you had it I swear. I hope you're ok.
Holy crap 😳 that's EFFIN scary 😲 how you managed to avoid covid is a miracle!! THAT line of work would scare the crap outta me 😤
I mean where people get sick a lot and aren't careful with their germs at all. People just cough into the air like it's no big deal. It's going around again. I'm scared but I've been vaccinated and had it so we'll see.
Shouldn't these people be super diligent around pathogens and 🦠 viruses cuz they're EDUCATED about these things!?🤯😵💫😳 WTH...I'd be in a biohazard ☣️ suit with a respirator and negative pressure entrances and all that jazz!!
Without saying too much, she works in the SUD area I just mean that the facility is gross lol and the employees don't cover their coughs or sneezes!!! I'm like, really?! It's circulating like the news in there. Like, how do they not care?! I'll never understand. When I'm sick I cover my face. Ughs.
More than likely it's just a bad cold as they are still around like they were before covid came along.
I agree with everyone here, you're most likely fine, imo. If you tested negative, you're good right. You can test again maybe if that'll make you feel more at ease.
I understand though. It's a scary time we live in with Covid. Did you vaccinate?
Take a deep breath.
Test again before you go to the fair. If you are neg 2 or 3 days after you are feeling symptoms you likely do not have covid. It is nice you are being considerate.around people. The different variants of covid have different symptoms so it can be hard to tell. Take care.
You tested negative, so you should be fine. You also have to remember colds, the flu and allergies are still a thing. Could just be a small cold
