PFT Results

Hi everyone. My first post here. A little background. I have been having persistent coughing that comes and goes since i got covid in March last year. Had 2nd covid in April this year. I was alarmed when in March the coughing caused me chest pain on the left side. The pain was bad with every cough, sneeze, laugh, and deep breathing. So I decided to see a respiratory specialist and he said it was bronchitis and put me on Erdomed and Foster Nexthaler cause he said I have been coughing for too long. It helped. Long story short, since then, I had experienced two other chest pain periods but this time both in the right side. Same symptoms, pain when coughing, sneezing, deep breathing and movement. The coughing still comes and goes. The doctor suspected asthma since the coughing keeps coming back,

The doctor ordered PFT with specifics to only go for the PFT when I have no coughing. So I did the test last week and below are my results. I am no expert but the numbers look normal to me. Can anyone confirm this for me? Will only be seeing my doctor in 2 weeks time to discuss the results but I am anxious to know.

Thank you everyone 😚

These numbers look good. This guide might help you interpret them more.

A lot of us find we have pretty normal spirometry even with severe asthma so defintiely see what your GP or pulmonologist says.

Good luck!
