Pain management Team
I have been waiting for 4 years to see someone in the pain management clinic at our local hospital. What a complete joke. When are the doctors and so called specialists going to help a patient who is in considerable pain and saying to him I want to cut my foot off. He was a complete waste of time, why

Pneumonia vaccination
Hi all. I have recently returned to Spain for the foreseeable future and managed to get my covid vaccination shortly after my arrival a few weeks ago. I had my flu vaccination in the UK just before we came out. I have to say that I have responded well to both vaccinations with no adverse side effects

Covid
I should have been at a relatives tonight but they phoned to say they’d got covid but thought I’d be ok to visit if I wore a mask. I said I wouldn’t be going, they think I’m being over cautious as “it’s just a cold these days”. I’m on Rux which I’ve been told will make me susceptible to infections.

cellulitis
I’ve been diagnosed today with cellulitis - never had it before and knew nothing about it so it’s all been a bit of a shock. I’ve been prescribed Flucloxacillin but unfortunately, by the time I was discharged from Urgent Care, the hospital pharmacy was closed so I can’t start them until the morning

Tonsil Stones from IVF Treatment - Anyone Else?
I began my first cycle of IVF back in the summer of 2020. Whilst in treatment and injecting Gonal F, I started having tonsil stones. These are debris that builds up and sit in your tonsils causing some discomfort. I ended up doing 4 rounds of IVF so obviously the drugs/hormones messed up my body somewhat

Hi all, I've been suffering with endometriosis for years but I'm really struggling to get proper help with it, and the doctors seem to be thinking now it might be something else. I've had surgery to remove endometriosis twice (and the second time I also had an ovarian cyst removed which was larger than

None of my family message me.
I deleted Facebook around a year ago, and after that I have felt very isolated. During that period of time there has been a lot of introspection and I have noticed that I never receive messages from family members. It is always me sending messages. And then they often stop responding even if I am

Just recovering from a very nasty covid bout - my first. I'm a pretty healthy, active 76 year old with no medical issues other than PV. happened to see this article In a news feed regarding B and T cells, Covid and antibodies…
I have wondered why if we don’t make antibodies by getting vaccinated, then why bother. This article gives me some hope that we are protected more than I thought. Hope that this article is credible. Just wanted to post it for our information. Subject may have been touched on before in HealthUnlocked

Pneumonia Vaccine

She said that the vaccine I was given about 10yrs ago is now not considered to be sufficient protection. It is thought that
