Pneumococcal vaccine in short supply.
Today, Sharon has officially been diagnosed with moderate COPD, about which I have had strong suspicions about, for over a month. The GP has said she needs to have the Pneumococcal vaccine, of course, especially with working in a nursing home. Sharon then asks the receptionist to make an appointment

Recently had a cardiac ablation
Ive been having terrible mood swings - I feel angry all the time and over the littlest things, I'm freezing all the time and I'm so tired. I was just wondering if anyone else had a similar experience and what you did to ease them? I know that these are probably just side effects and will eventually

Movicol - sticky motions!
I have an ongoing problem with constipation which doesn`t respond to dietary changes. Fybogel doesn`t help either so I switched to Movicol. It is more effective but causes 5 or 6 mainly small bm`s each day which are "sticky" and it takes ages to clean myself after each one. This makes me very sore

Colesevelam prescription cost
So I posted on here a couple of weeks ago that my consultant has decided to put me on Colevelam for BAM even though I haven't been diagnosed with it but she felt it would be better to trial the medication first to try and get my symptoms under control. I saw my consultant privately so therefore I was

When is the best time to take laxido?
I have recently been prescribed laxido to help with overflow diarrhoea and while I’m currently on long term sick due to migraines it doesn’t really matter which day I go but I am due to go back to work soon and I am really worried about taking laxatives as my job isn’t really the kind of job where you

My 4 year old daughter keeps soiling herself at school but not at home 🥺
My daughter went to school in September 2019 without being fully toilet trained. She had so many soiling accidents that school couldn’t cope and had to put her into pull ups, which didn’t help at all! Over the Christmas break we had her in underwear all the time (except for bedtime) and she had no accidents

Thank you!
I like others have an awful lot to thank this site for and it’s amazing community of you. Today though, I would like to thank all of you whom showed your appreciation and support for the NHS last night, as a worried mum of a newly qualified (in her first year) 22year old nurse it meant a lot, not just

Criminal Behaviour After Brain Injury
nearly four years ago I suffered a fractured skull leading to a contusion on my frontal lobe. I've been in treatment for a year now, to counter some of the effects it left me with. (It went unnoticed for the best part of three years because it happened while I was travelling abroad.) In the course of

How to help child withholding poo
My son withholds his poo. Its been nearly a year since he has been dry on the toilet training front. He wears a nappy for bed as we've not yet tackled night time training because of his poo issues. He will occasionally do it in his nappy if we don't catch him in time. Even as a baby he would not poo

Embryo thawing
Hi Lovely ladies, hope you are having a good day. I am thinking about the thawing of my embryo on the day of my FET. A friend of mine just told me she lost 2 embryos during the thawing process and I am very worried. I know the successful rates are high but i can't stop thinking about it. Everything stresses

Week three. Run one.
Ater trying to avoid the poor weather last week and winding myself up in the process I've decided I'm going out no matter what so that I have some structure to the plan instead of chopping and changing days. I was relatively lucky today having stepped out just as the rain stopped, but it was hard going

As many of you may know here, I have been going on with my lupus flare-up, and my new heart issues. My question to all is, I have for the last 3- weeks now been craving Salt, but only in the late evening. At first, I did not think much of it.
