Hello all. Wanted to know if since I am low-risk and currently on low dose asprin with phlebotomies occurring probably every 4-6 weeks, if I should stick with this treatment or start on hydroxyurea that my doctor suggested me to take? My hct is 45, platelets run from 770-860 and wbc was 13.5. From what

I need gin 🍸🍸🍸
Started cramping and bleeding on Wednesday which was 10dp3dt. Continued bleeding yesterday and tested today with our BFN, we expected it but I guess there is always a bit of hope. Think we need some time now away to try to get our lives back to normal, then we'll reassess. Got a meeting with our specialist

Life is changing now
This made me cry its by my son but I changed a bit so he's not recognised. It sums up that this is in pause of national life but safety is paramount. I just thought to share words of wisdom. "Today was one of the toughest emails I’ve ever sent... Scouts are prepared, we are resilient, we are careful

Another day; another joint lost
Hoping everyone is as well as they can be; especially during this crazy weather! Tomorrow is my surgery for my ankle replacement and heel fusion. I also got the date for my next wrist/ pelvis operation which is 31 March. Beginning to feel like I’m in an assembly belt! However, I thought that you had

Yikes- it’s like waiting for an unexplored bomb to go off!
I’ve got colonoscopy procedure tomorrow- to say I’m anxious is an understatement- I’ve taken the two senna tablets this morning at 8.30 but so about 40 mins ago - so far.... nothing! I’m dreading the onset of the diarrhoea... helllllp!

Titrating off Dihydrocodeine - what's been your experiences?
For background I have been asking to come off dihydrocodeine for some time now, and my doctors have finally agreed to slowly withdraw them. I don't have any negative side effects currently and am on 120mg daily M/R (modified release). My reason for wanting to withdraw is that I have been on different

Pisa Syndrome at Night?
I've had a few incidences of Pisa syndrome at night when getting up for bathroom. Leaning to the right, I couldn't straighten up until after I sat down on the toilet. It didn't dawn on me then, or maybe I was too sleepy, but reading about the tower of Pisa syndrome in Parkinson's got me questioning.

I owe you one, ShelWhitt XX
The dearest of memories can spring from the most surprising sources. ShelWhitt's kind response to a message of mine has stirred so many memories for me... I am beyond grateful that, even during these arduous times, I have been allowed to contemplate the little things that sustained me while I was growing

Week 4 Run 1 done!
I think I am very lucky to have got this far without any ill effects. Last week I missed two runs because of very icy weather and a slightly crazy desire to drive to Lithuania for a few days. I was hoping to run there and took my shoes and stuff but it was too cold and the city I was in had no really
