Anxiety/ptsd
Hello everyone, first of all I apologize for my english (I'm from Morocco), we don't have support groups over here. I wanted to ask you guys If PTSD can also become generalized anxiety disorder? I have severe panic attacks since 2014.

While I remember….
While I was sharing a four bay ward post hip replacement, two ladies - who had a total knee replacement and the other a half knee replacement - told me that although, like me, they had a spinal block plus sedation they both could hear the sawing and hammering and what the surgeons were saying…. but

struggling with feelings when people announce pregnancy
Me and my partner have been trying for over a year. We are at the stage where we have been referred to a fertility specialist and waiting blood tests and sperm analysis results. Everytime someone I am close to announces they are pregnant I take it really bad which my partner doesn’t understand why. One

Bisoprolol alternative to avoid cold extremities
Afternoon all, Despite 2 ablations my AFib episodes returned a year ago. Bisoprolol and flecainide seem to control it well, but I really struggled this winter with cold extremities. Despite plenty of layers, woollen socks, thick long skiing gloves I still have very cold fingers and toes. I tried

GCA and respiratory issues?
Hi everyone. I updated my profile to include my most recent flare/infection, but wanted to briefly share that info. with others who may experience respiratory issues with GCA. I had another bad "flare" that began on Feb. 4th at the end of a two week cruise. Again started with a sore throat, then respiratory

RLS and antidepressants
I’d be grateful for advice on this, as I feel I would benefit from an antidepressant. I’ve had RLS for decades, getting gradually more of a nuisance in the last 10 years or so, and have taken Codeine 30mg for several years, which helps to an extent, sometimes! I know antidepressants make RLS worse. I

Bye Bye Tramadol
Since I started methadone a couple months ago, I understand better about the difficulties I started to have with Tramadol. BTW, I went cold turkey off Tramadol, because methadone would negate it anyway. I realize now that after 4-5 years on Tramadol I was augmenting badly. I didn't realize what was

Understanding my RLS Symptoms
Hi togther, I am new to this board and registered because my RLS spread to my arms, shoulders, back and neck one week ago and now I am really scared, because having an almost overall RLS is terrible. RLS for me started in 2018 when I was 34 years old "within a day" (or lets say 3-7 days together with

Poor stress tolerance
Hi all, I think I ask this a lot but I'm struggling with it again. How does everyone else make it through stressful situations? Because I don't think I have more than the average person but whenever I get quite stressed it's like my brain shuts down; I can't focus, I can't think properly, I lose my

Buprenorphine finished. What alternative opiates are available?
After four weeks of insomnia and continued PLMs on 15 mgc patches, I shall abandon the treatment. I’d be grateful for advice on a.) potential withdrawal issues, and b.) alternative opiates.

Lessons from last Dr. appt: drug testing for kratom and a Suboxone issue
Hi, All. I went to a new doctor last week and she did a blood test which gave immediate results. Posters have mentioned being worried about kratom and drug testing…but she said there is no test for kratom...just wanted to pass that along. The Delta 8 gummies showed up, as did Suboxone. I learned another

Phlegmy covid cough and recovery times
Update: His doctor said that his phlegmy cough was “normal” and wasn’t too concerned. After 18 days he’s finally tested negative for covid and his cough has improved. Thanks everyone for your input! Has anyone had a covid infection with a phlegmy cough? How long did it take to clear it? My one parent
