The psychological and emotional impact of suffering a TIA I feel was an aspect of my care that was never addressed as my physical health was prioritised. self medication in the form of abusive alcohol intake was my method of dealing with pain, along with the tried and tested methods of pushing feelings

A new paper reporting a small case series of 4 patients who got relief from low dose aripiprazole (abilify ) after augmentation that was resistant to other treatment. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/37818170/ Does anyone have any experience with aripiprazole? I took it long ago, before I was even

Discovered Something New
I discovered something new this week...apparently my brother is a trigger for my anxiety, depression, ptsd, etc. Kinda sucks since I love him more than anything. I don't know how to have a regular day without not talking to my brother. Does anyone have any coping mechanisms that might help?

Currently in hospital with Pneumonia. My CRP was 180 on Saturday and went up to 220 on Monday. Medics are going to do a procalcitonin blood test which I've never heard of. Could one of you very clever forum members enlighten me

College Stress
How do you deal with all the stress of college. They give so many small assignments and it’s so hard to keep track of my assignments because so far I’m not doing well.

Shaking Body & Cold Clammy Hands
Hi all Fortunately my AF episodes are few & far between 🤞, therefore I just take Flecainide as PIP when it kicks off, which it did at 1am this morning. I got up to go to the loo & when I got back to bed I couldn’t stop shaking, I was so cold, then the AF started. My question is does anyone suffer

Pneumonia Vaccine
I was talking to a very friendly Doctors wife yesterday who works on his admin and we talked about the amount of people suffering and in some cases hospitalised with pneumonia. Cold symptoms with suppressants
Just trying to figure out how my system is different with the immune suppressants. I recently had a cold but it never got really bad but it is also lasting a long-time. I know someone who had a blood infection and her immune system didn't kick in until it was very severe. She was on immune suppressants

Covid and flu vaccines
I unexpectedly had Covid and flu vaccinations today whilst at the doctor's for something else. Was putting it off but glad it's done now. Today is the day I usually inject my MTX and one nurse said give it a miss this week whilst another said to do it as normal. I decided to give it a miss. Is there
