Remeron

I think I’m going to be switching from Remeron to paxil. Has anyone had good luck with Paxil? And tapering off Remeron?

Does anyone have any experience with Remeron/mirtazapine? I can’t tell if it’s all anxiety or side effects from it. I was on 7.5 and my anxiety went away and I felt great. I had a trigger and I went downhill. My dr put me on 15 mg and it’s been two weeks with no improvement.

I’m wondering if it’s anxiety or side effect from upping my Remeron dose?

I am having panic attacks every evening and take 45mg of Remeron, 15 mg Buspar x3 plus 2 1/2 tablets of 25/100 Sinemet 6 times a day. My neuro is reducing the Sinemet and won’t do anything about the anxiety. I have a new Psychiatrist that won’t change anything either.

I also just weaned off Remeron, maybe I’m getting withdrawals. I was doing good with my supplement routine (vitamin d, theanine, magnesium glycninate and b complex) but I think I’ll try Effexor. It’s been a year now of suffering from anxiety since that virus.

If you are going off this remeron please tapered off and save yourself from hell!!!

I just started Remeron (direct switch from Prozac) two nights ago because I couldn't take the night sweats, vivid dreams, and insomnia anymore. I hadn't had a proper night's sleep all year. So far I've been sleeping much better, still with sweats and vivid dreams, but glad for the sleep.

My sleeping pattern is acceptable with help form 1 tablet each of "Remeron & Valerian". The tablets at lunch (12:45 pm) & evening (5:45pm) do work and I get noticeable relief. My query please: what is happening with the morning tablet and what can I do to ensure that is is absorbed properly?

I take Effexor and buspar plus a clonazepam 1 mg before bed… I tried remeron but even tho it worked the side effects were not good for me. I have an appt Thursday… just seeing what all yall do take to give me some ideas. I really need my sleep ☹️

I am doing much better since starting the remeron ... when the anxiety comes on I just take myself out of the place I'm in and just redirect my thoughts and do things that take me to my happy place ....example crosswords music fresh air ... hope all is well

Well since starting the remeron I am able to sleep throughout the night .. just learning to fight being tired in am ... but can only get better with time ...

Tonight I start remeron 15 MG I'm a little scared to see what it brings. Can anyone suggest what time I should take it before I go upstairs to go to bed .... when I fall asleep I want to be in my bed ... how long it takes

Been on a litany of new medications (Lexapro again, Remeron (the worst), Seroquel XR, Buspar, Clonidine (lol), Propranolol (lol), Prozac. I am currently on a combination of Effexor XR (150mg), Lexapro (10mg) and Elavil (25mg) with Ativan on the side as needed.

I'm a hypermetabolizer of both Remeron (which I'm on) and Ambien in both normal and cr forms (which I'm on). Sleep is horrible and I was hoping Belsomra I wouldn't be a hypermetabolizer and could actually sleep.

My recent posts are about insomnia with Gabapentin. I have found suggestions that Wellbutrin XL is possibly the culprit. My husband's psychiatrist has suggested Mirtazapine which is an antidepressant that helps with insomnia. Has anyone had any experience with this medication? My concern is that
