What is wrong with me?

I’ve been ill for one year. Started with insomnia and daytime grogginess to the point of stupor. In the past year I have had various add on symptoms. (Taking serequel and remeron to help me sleep Plus Requip for restless legs which started in August 2024. I have a tremor plus sore stiff hands. And fluctuating blood pressure sometimes it does drop when I stand up and sometimes not. The movement neuro says I don’t have the clinical symptoms and the cardiologist that specializes in dysautonomia says it’s unlikely I have it. I started having vivid dreams that I can remember every day, the doc says that could be the meds I’m on. For a long time I’ve had urinary frequency and in 2022 started getting frequent utis also dry skin, watery eyes, runny nose, constipation, and hot sweats, PVCs & PACs and new mild sleep apnea. Every single morning when I wake up I have this jumpy uncomfortable sensation in my chest and upper abdomen. I can’t believe or take any comfort when the doctors tell me I don’t have MSA. I have autonomic testing in the far off future scheduled, can anyone shed any hope. I read all of the brave caregivers and patient posts, and in my situation my family thinks I am fixated on wrong thinking. When you feel ill and have no answers, it’s hard to move on with life.

I can understand why you are fixated on "what is wrong." MSA is extremely rare so doctors will not look at that disease until other possibilities are eliminated. I read your previous posts and there isn't anything that "screams" MSA. That is good news so far. You could be at a very early stage of Parkinson's disease. There are likely many other possibilities. Be careful not to fit the disease to the symptoms. If it's Parkinson's or a Parkinson Plus disease, time will make it clear. Until then, try to stay positive, take care of yourself, exercise and eat well. You mentioned that you are seeing a movement disorder specialist. He/she should be able to diagnosis a Parkinson's type disease if and when it occurs. Hopefully, your symptoms are the result of something that can be treated and cured. Stay strong.

Thank you for your reply. I am hanging on by a thread for sure. I pray that I do have something that will either go away or become known and treatable. Life can be so hard, and I know I am not beyond the grasp of something horrible happening, none of us are. God bless you for your kindness. ❤️
