Covid Jabs
Does being hypothyroid and asthmatic qualify anyone aged 60 for a Covid jab this winter, does anyone know? Receptionist at my surgery has just told me not. Although they want me to have a flu jab! I can't figure that out at all... And what do you guys think about having one anyway? I've had three

Cannot make up my mind...should I have POP surgery...or not?
I have had prolapse for about two years. I am using a pessary and have thought about surgery, but just do not want to go through all the pain/healing of a surgery and it does not really improve the prolapse without long term side effects from the surgery. I am also concerned after reading that many

I got some doubts about the know-how of my oncologist
I met with my oncologist last Friday and either I am confused or she is. I am open for both scenario. :) This post is sort of a follow-up on another I did back in August: https://healthunlocked.com/advanced-prostate-cancer/posts/149892314/need-help-in-understanding-psa-level-recurrence-after-treatment

Constant pain down below and heavy feeling.
Please bare with me as this must be a common post!I have endo in uterus muscle, pouch of Douglas and on ligaments and on my bowel. Also had a 5cm endometrioma. I'm in pain most of the time from my endometrioma and bowel but used to get about 5to 7 days of less pain after my period in my other areas.

wound seeping…. Should I be worried? Horrible photo sorry!
One of my surgical incisions has started to proper seep this sticking liquid and it’s so sore. The others are also seeping but not as much. I’ve tried contacting the dr but got no response. Is this infected and gonna need antibiotics? Has anybody else experienced this after surgery?

Another Cholesterol question
Morning All I have just read Soaping’s post about high cholesterol and TSH. It’s interested me particularly as mine is the same and the surgery are trying to push statins on me. Currently I’m hypo so I said I’ll decide when my Thyroid levels are optimal. The link given by shaws explains the

shingrix vaccine
Contacted my GP surgery to request my vaccine. The receptionist was adamant I was not eligible. Saying I would get it next year when I am 70. I explained the NHS had sent me a letter explaining I should get antivirals if I got Covid. Told her my condition and that I was taking steroids. She said my name

CT scan
I started on Ibrance and Anastrozole roughly in June 2023. Took it for 2 months and had to go off Ibrance for 5 weeks for surgery. Back on it for a month. Has a CT scan which showed more bone Mets and increased size. A node in lungs which was not seen on previous scan 6 months ago. Discouraged to think

Anyone opted for private Cataract surgery?
Hi, I have seronegative RA and am on Benepali. Have just had a routine eye test and been told I need cataract surgery. I thought I needed new glasses but it turns out it's cataracts! Anyway my optician has referred me on the NHS via my GP but I'm wondering about going private as I have no idea how long

This is an epic day; my first day with NO PREDNISOLONE after a 5 year journey with PMR. I feel quite nervous and wonder what the next few months will be like. I have reduced extremely slowing, particularly over the last 2 years and it took me 3 attempts to get below 3mg, but once there, I seemed to
