Prostap sr and periods
HiI'm 6 weeks post op after having large endometrioma cyst removed, right ovary removed and right fallopian tube removed. During surgery they also found a fibroid which too was removed. My CA125 has now returned to normal at 21, it was 141 prior to surgery. My consultant has started me on a treatment

So I’ve finally got my gyne app after a 6month wait after I’ve been constantly been bleeding heavy and loosing clots since December 2022, I have been on a few different tablets to stop the bleeding they’ve worked for a few weeks and then stopped and now nothing is working, the doctor referred me back

Vagifem causing flare ups?
I've had a hysterectomy and excision and am currently in surgical menopause, about a year ago started with a return of pain/symptoms. MRI earlier this year showed what seems to be the remains of my RV nodule growing about a cm deep into the rectal wall, plus another nodule elsewhere on the bowel. I've

Confused
I had my first appointment with an endo specialist today. I think I'm still in shock at the whole situation to be honest and am trying to sort things out in my head. I've just turned 40 and there's no history of endo in my family. I've been diagnosed with endo and adenomyosis. The endo is between

zoladex hasn’t worked?
I’m in my second month of zoladex 3.6 (while I wait for hysterectomy date) When I had my first one I experienced more pain then normal and still had bleeding, I’m lead to believe this is fairly common for the first time. Had my second one and started with my tibolone and again 7-10 days later pain

prostap injections
Hi all, I had my first prostap injection 6 weeks ago and my second injection two weeks ago to help with pain - I’m 33 and my consultant is reluctant to do another lap yet and won’t discuss a hysterectomy until this course of prostap is completed. Initially it felt like the pain was minimising (maybe

Treatment after Zoladex/Prostrap
I’m due to go back to the consultant next week and I’m just wondering what your experiences were a) coming off Zoladex/prostrap and b) what treatment options are next. For context I have been on the injections for 11 months now, and HRT for the past 5 months. I know everyone’s experiences have been different

Endo diet and bowel symptoms
I'm currently trying to deal with a return of bowel symptoms which most like seem to be due to bowel endo (I have a RV lesion plus a second nodule on the bowel). I've had a hysterectomy and oophorectomy and have already had excision. I had an MRI earlier this year which showed adhesions between the rectum

Reviewing my final Path report, post RP
A friend tipped me to this site AFTER my RP. (I'd read everything my surgeon gave me, plus googled a ton of stuff, none of which made any sense to me. My MD GF, GP, and surgeon all strongly pushed RP, so I did it.) I've learned more on this site in 9 mos than I did with all the above in a year. Thank

so many questions
hi all, I posted about 6 weeks ago regarding my mum who’s ca125 was raised and from that they found a large growth. She had her surgery today for total abdominal hysterectomy and they removed a tumour the size of a melon. The cancer nurse specialist has already been round and confirmed it is cancerous

surgical menopause
hi! What are your thoughts on including progesterone in your hrt regime if you are in surgical menopause and previously had severe endo? My hysterectomy included endo excision by an endo specialist. Is it necessary?
