Hi l cannot give you a clinical answer to your query, l can only relate my experience.
I had partial hysterectomy December last year and the completion March this year due to cancer being found.
I hope one of our younger friends writes to you as l am 77 so my journey has been very much post menopause, however if you would like to write to enquire about preparation or any worries l will check back here for a chat.
I also can't give clinical advice, but have you been offered any hormones ie "minipill"/Mirena or the menopausal ones?
This might be what they suggest to do before suggesting a hysterectomy and for many people this can help.
Sorry to hear your suffering and in pain after feeling better for a few years. It's a really cruel condition and unfortunately even after hysterectomy for many the symptoms do not entirely go away.
Best of luck with managing your symptoms and I hope you can speak with your specialist about what other options you may have.
