I remember Pete saying a while ago on one of his past
quit
attempts that although he had stopped
smoking
at the time some of the clothes he hadn't worn for a while still smelt of smoke. So maybe you could freshen up your wardrobe just by bundling some of your clothes in the washing machine.

Smoker to Triathlete: My bare all confession
Some of you may remember (back in August) reading the inspirational story of Michael Barnett. Michael gave up smoking earlier this year and then decided to to embark on a journey of raising his fitness levels and becoming a triathlete. http://quitsupport.healthunlocked.com/blogs/445981/From-A-Smoker-To-A-Triathlete-An-inspirational-tale

Addiction
Well I done my little experiment and have come to the conclusion that I am not addicted to Nicotine, its either all in my mind or I have weaned myself off it in the past 7mnths and it doesnt bother me now. My e-cigs only delivers a small amount of nicotine which is either Vanilla flavour or Watermelon

Before you reach your quit date, try to understand what part of smoking actually satisfies you....
Only you are able to recognise and answer any of the above for yourself then you can work on the next step of moving towards your
quit
date. The key to successfully stop
smoking
and staying stopped, is all in the thinking, planning and preparing beforehand.

Whilst writing the date I realised that it's now 7 months since I
quit
smoking
- didn't think I'd ever be saying that in my whole life so I say BIG THANK-YOU to all of you out there who have helped me along the rocky road.

Champix > Champion
I have stopped smoking tobacco products on Monday 19 Nov 2012. I am on Champix and it feels easy to let go of smoking rollies. It's a bit like the voice in my head that nags to get a smoke has been turned off. I haven't been smoking fags in many years anyway but the ritual of making a rollie is something

New Quit Date Today Following 'Slip Up' Yesterday.
Yesterday also coincided with a trip to the
quit
smoking
clinic and my CO reading had rocketed from the usual 2 or 3 up to 19. I explained my disappointment (at myself) for this slip up and set a new quit date for today.

If it only takes 24 - 48 hours for nicotine to leave your body, why would I want to use NRT?
When you first stop smoking, it is true that it only takes up to 48 hours for the nicotine to leave your body. So it may seem strange to start using nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) and put the nicotine back into your body again. Why would anybody want to do this? Without trying to make it complicated

Do you understand how your smoking may be affecting your pets?
Some of you remember the following blog I posted a few months back now. However, further studies show that your pet dog may be smoking up to 15 cigarettes each day! Please see the following news article for further information; http://www.heraldscotland.com/news/home-news/smokers-habits-put-pets-at-risk

Do you smoke and live with anxiety?
