HEY - LITTLE BLACK DEVIL - SPECIALLY FOR YOU: YAH BOO SUCKS TO YOU TOO !!!!!!!!!!
Just to let you know nic that before I kick you off my shoulder, yet again, I know you are responsible for me having to come home from work at dinnertime today. Not because I had that cig yesterday which was my own fault for listening to you in the first place nor is it because I have had a further

SINNER ME!!!!!
Only one way to say this my friends (could be ex-friends very shortly) on my 44th day everything just got too much and I lit up properly. Never mind that it was only the one – so far anyway – one is one too many. Just reflex I think – got myself into a state while combing and bathing my two and rather

FRIENDS .....
Where would I be? What would I do? Where would I go? What would I find? What would I think? What would I be?! Lost and alone, adrift and at sea, no-one to turn to, no-one to care but that last part is not true as some do care. Hard as I find it to believe, some people actually do care about me

I find first thing in the morning when I have my cup of tea & e-cig I get a bit wheezy, why is that I thought e-cigs only have nicotine in & no other chemicals that could affect my lungs & breathing...Or have

THE TRUTH
These are probably the hardest words I have ever written – as I type them, I am saying them to myself very softly because I am doing something now which I should have done a long time ago. I have had a message from a member and I have responded to that message with a personal (or as near to personal

Who wants to be a quitter?
Hello all stumbled across you guys while searching for answers on not sleeping whilst on Champix and have popped by a couple of times to read others stories. Not wanting to be deemed some kind of voyeur, thought i would share my 'story' Been smoking properly for about 31 years - was a p/t smoker

Eeeeek. This is bad. This is history repeating itself and I desperately need help as this is thee most likely thing to see me back on the cigs. Over the last couple of weeks I've noticed my foot getting a little bit swollen. Now my engagement ring threatens to cut off my blood supply. I have suffered

DAILY CHAT TUESDAY 9TH APRIL 2013
Good morning each and every one of you wonderful smoke free people or should that be person? Don't really know to be honest and more importantly is the 'smoke free' part so grammar or whatever it's called can take a running jump today as it's Tuesday and I have the privilege of opening up again! So

Tobacco, has left the Building...
Morning to you all, Well, that's the first 24 hours, and feeling quite okay really. I just had to get tobacco, papers, Lighters etc out of the house/garage/Car. I've been scared to do that. (What if I wake up during the night and I desperately need a ciggie...)? However, I've given it all away

IS IT JUST ME? Serious question and would really, really appreciate any help; advice or answers.
I'm now on day 16 and whilst my brain seems to have accepted the fact that I no longer smoke / do not want to smoke / do not need to smoke, it seems that my body and bodily functions are not in agreement as they refuse to accept that they are no longer going to get regular fixes of nic and other chemicals

Not really sure what I'm going to write...
... Just kinda staying in touch really. So good to to read other folks generous blogs too. I'm still smoking between two & five roll ups a day just now. I seem to have gone backwards instead of forwards. A bit sad too, as two weeks ago I'd managed to have a full 7 days without any smokes at all. I've

Oh dear...
Yesterday - roll ups = 2, Gill = 0. Therefore not good at all. Off for Chest X-ray today, maybe that might knock some sense into me. I saw an article on here from one of the advisors - it was Very interesting. All about the addiction of Acetaldehyde in tobacco, this too helps keep us addicted seemingly

My life without fags!
Ok......ive been trying to stop smoking on and off for the last 8 years! Ive tried everything from patches to hypnotherapy to acupuncture to champix. Until today I thought I was totally helpless and quite possibly condemmed to a life of smoking and more than likely a life cut short. Ive decided to

Here's hoping .....
Just got in from walking the dogs and the other half has made me a lovely bacon sandwich so eating that while typing this. Another beautiful day, still very cold (actually freezing is a better word) but dry and wonderfully bright. Clouds I saw this morning had a pink not silver lining and if I've managed
