Help with lots of problems
Hello everyone I am new here, I honestly may be in the wrong place, I am just desperate for some guidance. Hashimoto's or just paranoia?
Hiya, I'm new here but thought it's probably the best place to ask this question! I get very lethargic in the winter with an increase in symptoms for my anxiety and depression. I've always thought it was SAD but I had a test done for my Vit D levels last year and they were too low. I did a lot of research

Light Therapy
Has anyone stopped light therapy for dermatology because of CLL? Or continued? Or started after diagnosis? Dermatologists at NIH suggest I do not take any medications that suppress immune system to control psoriasis due to CLL and AIN. They did suggest light therapy. I was going to consider it but it

A new light shines on SCA3. Far infrared light therapy?
Someone pointed me to this awhile back, and I remember being intrigued, but I never followed through on studying it. Today, I caught some conversation on the Parkinson's forum that got me back to this topic and what I found was down right incredible. Researchers in China improved the gait of mice with

Red/near Infrared light therapy
Just wondered if anyone has tried infrared or near infrared light treatment. I've seen a couple of articles claiming it has many benefits including helping the thyroid work and also reducing antibodies. I think there are infrared saunas and also lights available. I think the main use currently is for

Lux sleep light & amber glasses at night
Hi, I was wondering if anyone had success managing sleep issues from FND with light therapy? My sleep is the worst it’s ever been and I’m too sensitive to medications and supplements (tried them all) I’m having difficult time cognitively (which usually i’m ok)! Appreciate feedback

Hello everyone! Up was taking Imbrevica for 4 months and then a rash appeared. No prednisone or topical prednisone has helped. It's almost 70 days now. My doctor discontinued it on the 15th day but it just fades and returns. My dermatologist has suggested light therapy and topical prednisone. I've

Getting a definite diagnosis and help
I was told by a respiratory specialist I saw at St Vincents private hospital in Melbourne (australia) that I have a 95% certainty that i have Allergic Bronchopulmonary Aspergilliosis. This was after CT scans of my lungs which also revealed bronchiectasis. This testing was done in preparation for a thyroidectomy

Questran Lite
Hi all. I have been on Questran Lite for about a month now, and it has finally reduced my itching. Just wondering whether others can share their experiences of it, and also wondering if I will have to take it indefinitely. It is awful for the bowels. :-(

This is the first time joining an online group even though I've been diagnosed since I was twenty. I just turned fifty and I would really like to find a way to work, to be productive, for at least a few hours a week. That and control my binging, which has led to being fairly overweight, which is a big

Near infrared light therapy
I have underactive and currently on T4 and T3, doing well, but still crash, don’t tolerate exercise and ready for bed by 8.30. So, I’ve been reading up for months and finally got a near infrared sauna (good old credit card!!). I’ve used it several times now and already finding more energy, staying
