Spider veins on face
Does anyone know how to help broken capillaries (spider veins) on the face? I’ve seen light therapy pens for at home treatment but I don’t want to buy something if it won’t work.

Alternative therapies: what I've learned
I've been on the PMR journey since 2014, and the pred episode since 2015. In that time I've also had an osteoporosis scare. Blue light therapy
Hi, someone put on about this the other day, and I was wondering if you had done any more about it? I can't find it now! I googled it, but all it seemed to say was that it was for acne and other skin complaints. Also SAD, that people get in the winter. does anyone know if it helps with a brain injury

Cholestyramine (Questran) for Bile Acid Malabsorption
I am having difficulty obtaining
Questran
or
Questran
Light
to treat sever bile acid malabsorption. My pharmacy says it’s currently out of stock (which it often is) but now they are saying it’s not likely to be available until April 2020.

Newborn jaundice for 4 weeks
Has anyone newborn had jaundice since birth and lasting over 4 weeks? My little girl was born at 37 weeks almost 4 weeks ago. She was diagnosed with jaundice with 24 hours of labour and we spent a week in hospital getting 4 days of phototherapy. She's home now, feeding well, lots of wet and dirty nappies

Hi, My IBS D is so bad at the moment. Somehow, I managed to get an urgent next day appointment with my NHS gastro (miracles DO happen!) He prescribed Questran Lite and said to try it for a while and see if it helps the D, to tell if I have BAM or not. (He said I could have a SeH-Cat Scan but he thinks

Read this before you get your next finger ulcer.
It's either a complete fluke or its the best treatment I have come across so far. Do a search and you will see there have been some trials conducted. I am referring to infa red or red light therapy. Ages ago I read about supposed healing of aches and pains by directed red light therapy. We bought a light

HE SAID YES!!!
Said yes to prescribing me a Bile sequestrant (
Questran
light
/ Colestyramine) It took a lot of nagging but I managed to get him to agree to the medication... just 1 sachet a day... with a follow up in ONE YEAR. Anyway, has anyone else tried this medication? What experiences have people had?

Questran
I’ve been taking Questran for five days now, to stop itching related to jaundice. Does anyone else have experience of this medication and how soon does it usually take effect? The itching is really impacting on my quality of life.
