Sound sleeping
I'm using light therapy to help me sleep. We haven't been getting enough sun her so I use a light box. If re rely on our circadian rhythm our sleep cycles get all discombobulated and we either wake up in the middle of the night or too early. Light therapy has to be the brightness of being outside on

Should I drop from 100mcg to 75mcg?
Hi all, I have posted a few times with my story. My most recent results are after 6 weeks on 100mcg levo. I only got NHS results this time, no medichecks results although I do regularly monitor all the usual vits and they are where they should be. I follow a gluten, dairy and soya free diet. I supplement

Rash after I stopped Prednisoen to MTX
Okay, so my rheumy doc was no help. I told her that since phasing off my steroids (I was taking 40 mg for vasculitis/pulmonary sarcoidosis) while taking MTX I am experiencing morning nausea, mental fog, and now have a rash on my face, neck, and chest (sometimes on my arms and legs but off and on).

Review article on photobiomodulation and the brain
Here's a review article on photobiomodulation (aka low level laser therapy [LLLT], 'red light' therapy, LED therapy). It summarizes the peer reviewed, published research on the topic - with emphasis on its use in neurodegenerative diseases and brain injury: Photobiomodulation and the brain: a new paradigm

Anyone tried red light therapy for Hashi's?
I've been hearing some chatter in the US functional health world about using red light therapy to improve Hashi symptoms and potentially increase T4 to T3 conversion. Apparently there is some credible research supporting this. Has anyone tried this? https://www.thepaleomom.com/joovv-red-light-therapy-for-autoimmune-disease

Upping the dose of Questran/cholestyramine
My mom was recently diagnosed with PBC and her doctor prescribed a daily sachet of Questran for her to help with the itching, but the itching doesn’t go away and it’s really bothering her, so I was wondering if it’s okay to increase the dose and take like 2 sachets a day? Does it help or the itching

Questran
If there are any questran users out there could you help me out? I have been taking it for 8 days, started on 1 sachet per day and increased to 3 per day in line with prescription. Stools are firmer (and full of mucus and what looks like fat?) but I’m still going 6 times a day or more. Is that usual

near infrared light therapy
Good evening all, has anyone seen of the potentials of this therapy, one article here, but plenty of other research available. ? Maybe if there were trials going on, that would be great Near-infrared Light as a Possible Treatment Option for Parkinson's ... https://www.researchgate.net/publication/238563377

Newbie intro and advice wanted
Hi there am a forum newbie. 45 year old male with 20 odd year history of frequent bouts of diarrhea and frequent (6+) stools a day. Symptoms have got progressively worse over the last 18 months and now an urgent need to go after eating anything unusual (not good as I travel extensively for work) seems

Treatment for b12 related acne
Hi everyone, I developed severe acne after my third booster shot and 6 weeks on it’s not gotten any better - each day I get 3/4 new spots which are either red and sore or come up as whiteheads straight away. From this website I’m aware it’s a side effect of the B12 shots but despite a load of Googling

Red light therapy
I just joined this group. My husband has PD he has been diagnose 2 years ago. We live in Canada and his neurologist is not suggesting anything only the pills... I started doing my own resarch and I found that group. I am interested in building that red light therapy bucket (Max Burr) I am not sure how

I hate winter
I struggle with bouts of depression all year long but it gets really bad during the winter months. I’ve tried light therapy and that seems to help a little. The vitamin D supplements I have upset my stomach which is weird, right? So I’m nervous to try other forms of vitamin d but I know my body needs

New research on PBC and light therapy
I was recently at my GI appointment and was telling her that due to my low mood and irritability, I'd started back on my light therapy. I have a litebook, which is a small portable device you sit beside you in the morning for 20 minutes while read or watch TV. Of note, it's also good for jet lag. Anyway

Questran stopped again!
For the second time this year our supply of Questran has dried up. Goodness knows if this is due to Brexit already, or just bad luck. How do you manage when you can't obtain it? Any hints and suggestions would be so gratefully received.

Crazy
Hello! My boyfriend introduced me to this website. This is my first post. I like writing about how I feel, however, I tend to dig too deep into my thoughts and upsetting myself more. Maybe that is a sign that I am ignoring them too much. I have dealt with depression and anxiety for as long as I can remember

Photon light therapy
I'm about to try photon light therapy for my intractable eczema and itching that goes with it. I'll be going 3x a week to a Kaiser facility for these treatments. Has anyone here tried this? Did it work for you? Anxious to hear all comments. Thank you, Marilyn
