Oh what a relieve. I’m in Cyprus and within 24 hours of arrival, THAT ITCH has vanished. This same thing happen when I was in Crete last year. Anyone had the same experience or know why this happens? Should phototherapy do the same thing? Oh happy days.

Red light therapy works for me
It seems crazy to me but it works. I bought a cheap red light after reading a post by Jules13. Thanks Jules!! She had said it lessened her pain. I was diagnosed last June but had been having problems since February. I was also diagnosed when I was a teenager but didn't have problems again until now

Red light therapy
Has anyone tried this for neuropathic pain? A local tanning salon was offering a free week of infrared and red light therapy, and I went in yesterday for my first session. I figured it can't hurt to try. Lying under red lamps in a tanning bed, unable to really feel much of anything happening, felt a

Let there be lightAt its simplest, it’s a bucket lined with bulbs. But light therapy is yielding promising results for Parkinson’s sufferer

How the VieLight 810 helped my husband
My husband's good results fromthe VieLight 810 I will preface this by saying that about one month before using the VieLight 810, he started on Seraquel, 25 mg. for psychosis. At that time, he was totally disoriented, wandering the house constantly, wearing diapers and couldn't sleep at all. It brought

Red Light Therapy
Just to let you all know that I have just finished building my own Led light therapy helmet as guided by Dr Catherine Hamilton from Tasmania. Cost about £30 which is a damned sight cheaper than the £1200 charged by Vielight. I'll keep you all posted on if there are any improvements to symptoms over

Hi , does anyone else take Questran? I've been taking it for a few months now and it helps enormously. When I take my prescription in the chemist always has to order it and it usually comes in within 2 days. I took my last one in 10 days ago and he hasn't managed to get any yet and doesn't know when

A new avenue to explore
Hey all. I've read some research over my time with PD on gamma and alpha light therapy. The papers didn't seem too positive as regards its efficacy but I have some close friends who have had some very good results with this. One had PD and the other early Alzheimers. Note that the former is correctly

Just joined... hi
I've been diagnosed with HS for 24 years and had no treatment for 15 years and wondered how things have come on and what treatment is available now for people? I had the UV light therapy , long term anti biotics, was on a medication I think was called Roacutane and nothing worked so I gave up going back

Plaque psoriasis
Hi I live in the U.K. & suffered with psoriasis for 30 years. I have it on my arms, legs, back, bottom & hands. Have tried so many creams, lotions & ointments over the years. IMHO I find the only thing that makes it better is the sun. Am under dermatologist who offered me a course of phototherapy

B12 injections/Questran
I have had PBC for more than 10 years. I recently noticed a return of some of the unpleasant symptoms I suffered prior to being diagnosed with Pernicious Anaemia last year and mentioned this to the GP last week but unfortunately she could not answer the question relative to Colestyramine (Questran)
