Near infrared light therapy

I have underactive and currently on T4 and T3, doing well, but still crash, don’t tolerate exercise and ready for bed by 8.30.

So, I’ve been reading up for months and finally got a near infrared sauna (good old credit card!!). I’ve used it several times now and already finding more energy, staying alert in the evenings - this cannot be placebo, no way to get past that thyroid tired.

I don’t have Hashimoto but have read a study with light therapy that got 48% off hormones!

I’m curious to know if anyone else had experience with near infrared (not far infrared)

Feeling very hopeful!

Thanks :)

Hi Ashant, I read something by Mercola. He was excited about near infrared, much better than far infrared. I don’t have the link but you can search his site.

Since reading about it, I’ve been trying to find a near infra red sauna. Can you give me details of cost and where you got it? I tried a search in the UK but didn’t find anything

ps just found Mercola’s interviewers with Dr Lim on YouTube. All about near infrared. FYI Mercola used to sell far infrared products but has updated to naer infrared. It’s mearn to be very healing. There’s also something called Vielight which you shine up your nose and again a near infrared light meant to make a significant impact.

Yes I have near Infa red sauna that I use in the bathroom I haven’t quite got it right with draping it off to make sure no heat escapes. It uses 3 bulbs. It was a bit expensive for what it is (plywood). I use it as I’m on iodine protocol too so need to detox. I get hot but not quite there yet.

Hi

I have been looking at buy a Near infrared sauna, but your right they are expensive. One of my sons is an electrician and says if I can source the bulb, he would do the rest. Are you able to buy just the bulbs?

I have seen some 150 watt bulbs on Amazon, but cant find any 250 watt bulbs.
