Perimenopause and repeat episodes
I seem to remember reading something about there being a risk of a repeat episode of
psychosis
during the perimenopause stage. Does anyone have any experience/feedback or other words of advice in relation to this please? I will be going to GP too. Thank you in advance.

Getting it back together
Four years ago I was hospitalized for postpartum
psychosis
with my third child. I had ECT and maintained things for three years. Unfortunately, I was unable to go off medication successfully. I thought I was doing fine, but after much stress I was hospitalized again.

Risks during peremenopause
Im completely new to posting on here so please have patience. I suffered from PP 5 years ago and iv had no other symptoms since but I am getting increasingly worried that I may be starting early menopause. I am 44yrs old. I have been recently feeling quite depressed, no energy and extremely short tempered

Recovery
Hello, I had my first daughter in august 2016, shortly after her traumatic birth I developed post natal
psychosis
and was hospitalised. Since this I have had post natal depression and severe anxiety. To say it's been horrendous is the understatement of the year as u are all aware.

2 Year Update PBC
I was diagnosed with depression (which I have had all my life) with

before, so I thought they were saying that I was a psychopath! But that's a completely different thing. Evidently
psychosis
is not a disease, its an episode of acting bizarre.

What can I do now
I also have Bipolar /
psychosis
so I'm on other meds too. I feel as though I have been left with no help whatsoever with regards to fibro. I am in pain, tired, dizzy and I have no one to contact with anyone who can offer any advice on what I should be doing. Do any of you have a rheumatologist ?

I am sane
I thought about counseling but that made it seem like something was wrong with me and multiple psychiatrist said I suffer from
psychosis
. I was in denial for a long period of time but I believe the only thing I suffer from is lack of accomplishments.

I had PP at the end of April this year when I was 5 months postpartum. I haven't felt good on any of the meds I've been given. I was given 3 injections of Invega Sustenna, and am on 1 mg Risperidone. I am now 5 months past my initial PP and have had akathisia, depersonalization, anhedonia, and severe

What is the relationship of CBD and psychosis?
My sister is in her 7th year with the diagnosis of CBD.... likely she had it a few years earlier. Her progress has been slow.... but recently she has frequent - and getting more frequent - episodes of talking to people who do not exist. She gets very agitated with the 'people' and is now going around

What does recovery feel like?
Hello, I'm only on my 8th day of treatment from postpartum
psychosis
. I did not reach a very severe stage because I almost always maintained a level of "insight", in the sense that I knew something was wrong and I didn't do anything although what I've been through mentally was torturous.

Hope!
Hi all, I just want to give those currently suffering with PPP or recovering from PPP hope that it does end and fully recovering is possible! I had PPP in September 2016 after the birth of my daughter. I was sectionned and admitted to a MBU out of area due to no services locally. I was an inpatient

Does anyone else have OCD as well as recovering from PPP?
I had my baby 4 months ago and was diagnosed with PPP a week after my baby was born. I had previously had OCD and it seems to be on its way back. I also have depression now. I feel like all I want to do is hide in bed. Does anyone else feel like this?

Recovery from PPP - feeling spaced out
Hello, I am currently recovering from ppp after 2 stays on an MBU, with my second stay only ending last month. My little one is now 12 months old and certainly active! I currently take a combination of olanzapine and an antidepressant. My symptoms were mainly delusional with depression also. I have

Link between PTSD and psychosis?
Just curious as to the extent of the link between the two, I'd ask my therapist if I didn't turn mute so easy talking to people. Anyways a lot of triggers set off false memories or things like nightmares when I'm awake. I know they're not real, but they feel like it so bad, they're like movies playing

I feel like my world is falling apart.....
But my question is how do you know the difference between the OCD and
psychosis
? Could I possibly have
psychosis
and have been misdiagnosed? I feel like I am losing myself and that scares me. I just want to be me again for my family.
