Holiday Insurance
I'm going on a trip to the US this summer and looking into holiday insurance. Do I need to declare my PPP and PND? I'm totally fine now and medication free for two years (my son is 3.5yo). The docs have said it is very unlikely to come back, only if I have another baby. I don't like not being totally

PP even after preventative meds?
I would like to hear from anyone who had PP even after taking all preventative measures, as in medication strait after birth and a prevention plan in place with the doctor and support. I would like to try for another baby but my husband does not want to risk me becoming unwell again. My doctor said

How motherhood should be! Long post (sorry!)
My second baby is 2 weeks old today. That means I am past the real danger zone for a repeat episode and, although there is still a heightened risk until he is 6 weeks old, I honestly can't see there being any chance of me getting ill again as everything is just so different and amazing this time around

A little help please? :)
Hello everyone. I'm very new here. I've been looking online for information on PP for a while and only just found this. I hope you can give me some advice. I suffered from PP in early December 2014. I went through all the usual symptoms and was eventually sectioned when my little girl was 9 days old

"grey area for LUPUS"
Then I was treated for Pleurysis and Pericarditis in November and I had a mental/
psychosis
issue in March 2015 I don't really know what happened. I just began crying and walked off my job. I ended up driving around for hours and just in complete confusion.

Treatment of PPP
Hi everyone, My name is Simon and my wife is Diane, we are new to the group. We gave birth to a beautiful baby 6 months ago and almost right away my wife was struck with insomnia and insane energy. Unfortunately being in Mexico right now, even though I am originally from England, my wife's condition

Hi, I had post partum

6 months ago and am still on anti-psychotic and anti-depressant medication, I have come off the anti-anxiety meds. I'm feeling loads better but I'm having a difficult time as a close friend has just had a baby.

Had a second child and no PPP
I had a second episode of
psychosis
and had to be hospitalised. When I got pregnant again in 2012, I was very worried about PPP. I knew that having got sick with
psychosis
a second time upped my chances of getting sick again once my second child would arrive.

You may have heard Postpartum

we are going through PPS
HI everyone, I am reaching out for any help, advice, support as my sister in law has had post partum
psychosis
after giving birth to her first child. She was quite 'high' after the birth and looking back, I can see that was the mania setting in.
