A year on
Hi there Just wanted to share how I'm feeling a year on from my onset of Pp. Pp has made me realise how important family and friends are to me. That's the main positive I've gleaned from this experience. Also I've learned to be more kind to myself. In the future I would like to use my experience

I'm new here, I guess this is my first post
I've had depression for as long as I can remember, and I've had
psychosis
for at least nearly 4 years, though I think that the symptoms of my
psychosis
have been there since I was 14, maybe younger. I am medicated, which helps with my
psychosis
, but not with my depression.

Psychosis or just Depression.
I also self harmed and it stopped the voices for a while.I'm being treated for major depressive disorder with
psychosis
but I think that this is postpartum
psychosis
. I have good insight into my condition. The problem is, i think I have ptsd, bipolar and ocd too.

My daughter hates me
So I saw my therapist today and admitted (and I know this sounds awful) but if I could turn back the clock and not have had Ella then I would do it in a heartbeat. I feel utter rejection from her, she absolutely hates me. People keep telling me a child of her age doesn't know how to hate but she really

Olanzapine and medication reduction 18 months on from PP
Hi all Just asking for some advice really. My daughter is 18 months old now and although I am still a bit up and down with my mood and anxiety I feel the need to start reducing medication. Various reasons really, I don't like the way they make me feel and also the weight gain is ridiculous. I'm just

New start, motivation and support
Last year I straggled with severe depression and
psychosis
. I was on medications that made me eat a lot. Over a few months I gained extra 20 kg, from 52kg to 72kg with only 1.60 m of hight.

tonight, the Fall before tonight). I will need to invest in some decent running shoes too I think-particularly if I'm going to go "off off road". I

Did anyone see the documentary last night on BBC about the link between taking SSRIs and commuting violent acts? What were your thoughts?

Scary thoughts are coming back
So I went through
psychosis
back in November . I had some scary thoughts. After two hospital stays and medications later I was better and able to come off my meds except for my anxiety medication. Anyways for the past two weeks the thoughts are coming back.

Changing my bipolar diagnosis seems impossible!
In a matter of seconds I developed neurological problems affecting my visions and balance, and a hugely debilitating set of psychiatric problems including
psychosis
and rapid mood swings.
