Repeat tp biopsy
Decided on AS last October,

On AS and not sure if I need another Biopsy
My
PSA
has come down since being diagnosed 3.2 to 1.9, Free is at 21.1. I had a PHI test which was 27.2 (Medium risk) and my Testosterone was 37.7, slightly on the high side. I have attached my last MRI. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Update on Prostate Cancer Vaccines that I follow... another year is gone...
Next, I posted on Advaxis, a company with 2 PCa vaccine candidates-- ADXS-

has not yet announced a Phase III trial, despite positive phase II results with Keytruda...

Travel insurance and prostate cancer
Subsequently my
PSA
started to rise again so I was treated 5 years ago with docetaxel followed by decapeptyl hormone therapy starting 4 years ago. I want to go on holiday. Can anyone recommend a travel insurance company that will provide cover at a reasonable price? Thanks.

He is in year 6 from diagnosis. 2017 he had Prostate removed … Gleason 8… clear margins at time of surgery. 6 months later
PSA
began to rise. He was put on Casodex/Lupron and had 39 rounds of radiation. He has been on these drugs Intermittently for 5 years.

Help on what to expect with this 6 month follow up?
He is gleason Score 9 with maybe 88% of his prostate being cancerous. original
PSA
226. Doctors have classified him being between stage 3 and 4 (they literally said that they can't decide which). No distant spread shown on multiple scans.

Zometa Tips???
After 12 years of surgery, EBRT, ADT1 and ADT2, chemo, SBRT, and completing 6 doses of Pluvicto my
PSA
is down to 0.10. Other than dealing with persistent anemia, I'm feeling pretty good!I just learned, however, that my MO wants to start me on Zometa.

BCR Prediction?
PSA
7/2020 = <.014
PSA
1/2022 = .010
PSA
8/2022 = .014
PSA
3/2023 = .024 I realize the
PSA
is extremely low 5 years out, is not considered BCR and my
PSA
has never been very high. At diagnosis I had a knee jerk reaction and failed to properly research treatment options.

Xofigo Update
I'm highlighting the current treatment for those who might be interested: 5/2023
PSA
of 17.1 (holding steady near that reading for the last three tests) He has been on Lupron since PR and subsequent localized radiation in 2014. When it started to fail a year ago they added Xtandi.

Switching from prednisone to dexamethasone with abiraterone
I'm about to switch, not because my
PSA
is increasing, but because I'm hopeful that dexamethasone may reduce my blood pressure. Is this a sound or stupid reason to switch? Lupron plus abiraterone with prednisone have maintained my
PSA
< 0.1 (from 111 at DX) for over 4 years.
