After 12 years of surgery, EBRT, ADT1 and ADT2, chemo, SBRT, and completing 6 doses of Pluvicto my PSA is down to 0.10. Other than dealing with persistent anemia, I'm feeling pretty good!I just learned, however, that my MO wants to start me on Zometa. I won't know the dosage, timing, etc., until the end of May; my next appointment.
So, other than the dental precautions, what should I ask, know, etc ? Any tips are appreciated!
Thanks!

Exactly. I have never been on those but I understand the side effects are pretty debilitating (flu-like symptoms and bone pain). No point in starting unless there is a need.
Really only felt under the weather 1-2 days. He was getting Zometa monthly for nearly 3 years. He did get jaw necrosis so that’s a drag. His dexa scan was good so in hindsight maybe he didn’t need it monthly. Discontinued when jaw issues started. Good luck !
