Latest Pylarify clear with PSA at 4
I had expected mets similar to my 1st one which was also run at a
PSA
of 4. BTW, the Axumin scan was clear at that time. I've been on an ADT/Zytiga vacation for about 18 months. My
PSA
did become undetectable for a while beforehand though.

ART AACR Journal ; Effect of Sulforaphane in Men with BCR after Radical Prostatectomy
The study does show that the positive effects on reduction of
PSA
doubling disappears with the end of supplementation and that the placebo group's
PSA
surge at M6 was higher than the control.

What follows Lupron and Zytiga?
Left hip was radiated (a 2nd time) last June when
PSA
started to rise (to low numbers) after scan showed my largest tumor, located in my left acetabulum, was “active”.
PSA
returned to <.05 once again following the radiation. But- it was measurable at .05 one month ago and now .06 today.

His
PSA
increased from 5 to 12 from Jan 2023 to Nov 2023.
PSA
increase was detected/tested when he went in for what they thought was a urinary tract infection (I swear I knew something was up then and urged him to go to another dr asap).

Confused about my Gleason and Grade (cribform)
my summary 15 cores sampled 5 positive. 4 are 3+4 1 is 3+3
PSa
8.6. clinical stage T2a The red flag for me was— cribform present - yes How significant is the cribform and does it move you to automatic RALP. I assume the doctor will order a body scan or other tests.

Docetaxel efficacy
Hi All Three months after finishing docetaxel my husband’s
PSA
has risen from 0.3 to 3.4, which the oncologist tells us indicates that the cancer cells are active again, although he’s booked him for a PSMA PET scan to confirm this.

My
PSA
and scans are undetectable and I don't want to take anything that would jeopardize that. I'm 72 years old. I know this may sound petty to some but golf has been my life. It's what I do.

Neuropathic Foot Pain
PSA
is going down and I do have mild bouts of diarrhea but that is totally manageable. My 20 year battle with this disease continues. I will never give up . I continue to have neuropathic foot pain that I believe was caused by chemotherapy.

Does a big drop in PSA a month after the start of hormone treatment possibly represent a higher chance of cure?

Where to go after Lutetium 177?
PSA
was dropping fast (down to 185) up until the supply issues struck; he missed one complete cycle which was stuck on the end. Since then,
PSA
has dropped to around 345 at the 5 week mark following the infusion. He's feeling stronger, eating well and managing any pain with minimal meds.

Is it normal taking lupron shots and after awhile doesn’t work?
Writing for my husband, he had his prostate removed and after his first blood to test his
psa
, it wasn’t zero so the doctor wanted him to do radiation but he refused. Since his
psa
was raising he decided to take Lupron and at the beginning was working but his last

it doubled.

BAT question. A little worried about results.
I then started Nubeqa which has kept the
PSA
at bay for another 2 years but
PSA
got up to 14 and PSMA scan showed some advancement of the mets in the abdominal nodes. I had immunotherapy (Provenge) which didn’t really do much and my
PSA
remained 14.

Positive results, Pluvicto
My
PSA
remains undetectable after almost a year. I am still on Nubeqa and Lupron (every three months), plus Pluvicto. FINDINGS: PROSTATE: No focal tracer activity in the prostate to suggest residual/recurrent primary prostate neoplasm.
