Finished ORGOVYX LAST NITE (4 MOS)- (THANK G-D!)..When do I get my T back? When is Orgo out of my system as well as it's Side Effects?

Finished 4 months of ORGOVYX® (relugolix) last night.

(thank G-d)...

Can you tell me ,How long in weeks or months until I get my Testosterone back.. (including energy, no more fatigue, no more heart palps, and especially libido, erections, and orgasm.)

Since I stopped last nite (no taper ) I am still getting hot flushes, headaches , palps , etc. ....how long will i still get residual side effects..

how long before the Orgovyx is out of my body and I start feeling my strength "manhood" back..

Gained a few pounds, will it now be easier to lose?

Well, it doesn't happen overnight! I was on Lupron Depot for 24 months. I graduated from Lupron on Oct 26, 2022. It took about 4 months to feel any improvement at all and six months to near normal. If you are on oral ORGOVYX I would expect that your T should return much faster than mine. Hopefully someone with experience with that drug will respond.

Just my personal experience here. I was on Orgovyx for 6 months. At 6 weeks after my T had recovered to 600+ (my baseline was 700+). Most of my secondary SE - fatigue, muscle cramps in my hands, insomnia had abated. However the sexual side effects (libido and ED) had been slow to develop (I didn't really feel them until about 3 months in) and were similarly slow to resolve. It was about 3-4 months until that part felt normal.

The T should come back soon since it’s Orgovyx and only 4 months. You should be doing plenty of cardiovascular and resistance training. Don’t wait until you ‘feel better’ for superior results and faster T recovery.

I was on Firmagon for two months, then switched to Orgovyx for two months. The hot flashes lasted another three months or so. I wasn't prepared for that, and nothing I tried really helped. It all changed when my testosterone came back, which again, was about three months after going off Orgovyx. I lost the extra few pounds and started feeling like myself again. Libido, orgasms & erections are harder for me to tie to the T, but part of feeling good again was enjoying sex a lot more.

I am sure you realize that everyone's make-up is unique...so there is no pat answer to your questions. I was on Orgovyx and undetectable for 18 months. When I stopped, my T went from the teens to over 200 in 30 days and over 400 in 60 days. Still undetectable more than 14 months after stopping ADT and T stays between 400 and 535 (age 70). I feel normal again...lost weight and gained muscle and stamina. Fingers crossed I remain at this place for many years to come. All the best.

that’s great to hear. I will finish 18 months of orgovyx mid December. I’m so ready to feel like my self again. I feel like an imposter has invaded my brain and body!! Did you regain sexual desire?

Yes.....came back with the T Levels.
