Repeat tp biopsy

Decided on AS last October, psa hasn't changed in 2 tests since then at 4.2 .At appt today urologist told me there'll be repeat mri scan followed by a repeat tp biopsy at 12 months this is routine AS protocol in UK I believe.

Have increased my exercise regime and lost some weight a no brainer for me because fitter the better for possible future disease progression, this is despite having paroxysmal afib with only 1 episode in 3 yrs and unaffected by exercise I think the beta blocker keeps it under wraps

I wish everyone would switch to tp biopsy.

Cousin had trus biopsy a few yrs ago ended up in hospital with sepsis, can't understand why trus is still used, tp with local anaesthetic is the way to go

💯%. I think some Uros can't be bothered to learn how to find the right nerves to block.
