PSMA PET SCAN AND PSA
Current
PSA
is <0.01. Since my
PSA
at detection in 2019 was only 4. 5 and the PET scan showed all mets, he is recommending a fresh PSMA PET Scan to rule out mets to bones as he feels in my case
PSA
is not an equivalent indicator of spread when compared with usual detections with a much higher
PSA
.

Looking for Hope
His
PSA
is still rising. The doctor at University of Chicago is not happy with his bloodwork. He may try something else. Before Pluvicto he had Docetaxel and his
PSA
rose right after he stopped chemo. He also had target radiation that did nothing either.

Rising PSA
In one year
PSA
has been rising. Up to 14 now. Dr. Aggarwal says no longer treat
PSA
# only scan results. Yet, CT with contrast is not definitive. Thoughts? Thank you!

PSA uptick
His
PSA
has been at/near undetected (<0.01-0.02) for several years, but recently there has been an uptick to 0.08 (similar on a recheck, so not lab error). Obviously still low-level, but concerning signal. Other labs are stable and bone scan a few months ago was stable.

Disappointed
docs felt
PSA

PSA
has increased… it was 25 before identified lymph were removed and now
PSA
IS slightly up to 27! He has CDK 12 mutation and AR-?

PSA rise
2 months ago my
PSA
was 20. I have had extensive screening done prior to starting a clinical trial on Tuesday. My
PSA
has gone up to 367 since then. CT scan showed no significant change and I had bone scan yesterday.

T never recovered after ADT and 44 EBRT sessions.
Undetectable
psa
up until 6 months ago. Then went to 0.1. I had been taking Androgel ( 2 pumps daily) my MO declared that I was " out of remission" and I then stopped the TRT. Since then, I've had two
psa
tests at 3 month intervals.
Psa
is now at 0.03.

First MO visit
PSMA test in November 2023 was negative with
PSA
of 0.14 at that time. My
PSA
has now increased to 0.34. I have my first visit with an MO in a couple weeks. Any suggestions or hints as to what to expect for treatments following this visit?

Confused
His
PSA
went up to 1600. Doctor said other blood work was to be expected. I researched surged in
PSA
and found this, The
PSA
flare is a well-known phenomenon. The post chemotherapy increase in serum
PSA
could reach more than twice the baseline value.

Recent dropping of guideline "Post from your own experience".
Currently, I am one of the participants in discussions about surgery and ultrasensitive
PSA
testing. I have considerable experiences with both and share mine.

Symptoms of PsA
Hello I wondered if anyone could share with me the symptoms of
PsA
? Although I have been told that I've probably had this for a while, the only sign, for years, was two slightly swollen toes which at times were a little sore.

Latest Update
PSA
now at .08 - thats the lowest I have had since contacting this prick of a disease. End of chemo was .52 and .48 so pretty significant. The plan now is to test again every 12wks/3mths and act only upon increased
PSA
or pain etc...
