Reoccurring cystitis :(
Hi ladies, can you help? I am having problems with cystitis after sex. It happens if we are intimate more than twice over a few days. I am so careful to shower and empty bladder after but I still keep getting the feeling of needing to go more often and my urine smells. What am I doing wrong? Thanks

How do you know if it is interstitial cystitis or a urinary infection?
I am taking antibiotics as I couldn't get to the GP last week but I had the typical groin pains associated with an infection. So the duty doctor prescribed some antibiotics over the phone. I'm halfway through them already and although energy wise I feel better today, the frequency has increased again

Flecainide - usage and dosage

Some points which may be of interest are Runs of PVC's - even bi- and trigeminy are not significant and are thought of as

Cystoscope and Bladder biopsies
Hi 2 years ago I had a urethral dilatation due to repeated uti's. 7 months ago the uti's stopped but I suffered monthly with cystitis blood but no infection. Weeks ago I was sent for yet another cystoscope that showed changes so washings were taken for cytology Results were inconclusive so on 13th

How high is too high for HR
I am new to the AF world, & have been taking Pradaxa for about two weeks with no awful side effects so far. I have taken Verapamil for many years for PVCs (which maybe was actually AF). About a month ago I had palpitations lasting about 20 hours. My GP did an ECG & diagnosed AF & sent me to an EP.

Endometriosis and intestinal cystitis
I saw a new gynae yesterday, I've already been diagnosed with endo but the gynae also suspects that I have intestinal cystitis. Has anyone else got these both together? How do you get diagnosed? What's the outlook?

Riaximin for cirrhosis
Does anyone think its worth trying this Riaximin instead of lactulose? Do they have the the same effectiveness for cirrhosis of the liver as any laxative? I still dont know how a laxa tive helps clear your brain of ammonia (HE) in the first place myself. Ammonia is a type of cleaning fluid isnt it?

Still drinking after banding?
Hello all. I'm writing about my friend again with cirrhosis who was very recently hospitalized for a week following a ghastly night of bringing up blood and undergoing a banding procedure, which it seems, probably saved his life. He's been home for around three weeks, but is still drinking which concerns
